Todays first download is a set by The cars that was recorded in Memphis, TN in 1987 - the exact date and venue isnt listed. This is in supeb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by The Cars over the years - this is another top sounding show for the collection. A top setlist which includes songs from the bands album "Candy-O" including the hit single "My Best Friends Girl". If you like The Cars - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by Depeche Mode that was recorded in Hamburg, Germany on the 12th September 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboad and it sounds top notch. I've recently posted a lot of shows by DM - but they were recentl shows, this one goes back to the bands very early days. If you like a bit of early Depeche Mode then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this artist that I've posted. This is "Uncertain Destination! - an album written, produced and performed by Scotty Gregory. This is in superb quality and the audio for this boot has been taken from studio master takes and it sounds top notch. I know very little about this artist - he's Australian, he paid for this album to be produced himself - then gave it away as a demo of his work and made it a free download. I had a quick listen... and WOW!... can this guy play a guitar or what!... he is amazing and plays some wicked hard rock... very, very well. I thoroughly recommend this bootleg - you have nothing to lose so go ahead and give this guy a try... I doubt if you will be disappointed... Todays first downlaod is a set by Wishbone Ash that was recorded at the Milwaukee Summerfest in 2003. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of boots by Wishbone Ash over the years - but nothing recently. I was quite surprised to find this one - good quality boots by Wishbone Ash are rare. This is a great sounding show and if you like Wishbone Ash it's one you will want for your collection.. Todays second download is a set by Johnny Cash with Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis that was recorded in Rotterdam, Netherlands on the 19th April 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by JC over the years - he always puts on a decent show and this one is now exception. He kicks off with the classis "Ring Of Fire" to get the show started and then performs a 24 song show with help from Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. Todays extra download is a set by Heart that was recorded at the Aquarius Tavern, Shoreline, Washington on the 1st June 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch - a little tape hiss but not noticable during the music. I've not posted many boots by Heart over the years - according to my files only a half dozen or so. This is a top show with an amazing cover of Led Zep's "Stairway To Heaven" that is worth the download on its own.. a wicked version!. If you like Heart then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended...
