What is it that you like? There is zero pressure managing the U21s and the only time he has taken charge of the first team we've been thrashed 4 1 so I dont understand that comment at all. Paddy may one day be a great coach but I'd rather he didn't learn on the job with Palace's Prem status at stake!

I agree with not putting him in charge but in and around experience will help. I’m sure there is pressure with the U21s. The club spent millions getting grade 1 academy status so want a return on that investment. Anyhow I was at Arsenal for that game and it was the most attacking performance in months. If Wilf had scored the second to make it 3-2 we would have seen a different end I’m pretty sure. The on target shot count in the game was 5-5. Fans I spoke to were upbeat and is was not bad considering we went previously nearly 300 minutes without any. That could only have been on instruction from paddy. That’s my tuppence worth

At Palace we already have some great young players, especially if Olise stays? And there's a very promising group of young academy players who need a chance to shine. We need a new RB or RBW .We already have promising young strikers like Umeh or Gordon, who might do the job, if given the chance

I disagree. I don’t reckon that much to Potter. Absolutely hopeless at Chelsea with some of the best players in the world and if you look at Brighton they are now playing far better than they were under Potter. Over hyped manager in my opinion, I’d much prefer Hassenhutl if we are looking at PL experience managers.

He had less than 2 days with the team before that match, it was basically a plug and play game sticking to what they'd been doing under Vieira, Roy had 2 weeks before the Leicester game.

Paddy could have had a month to prepare. He'd still have been spanked. You seem to be forgetting he has been involved with first team training for months so its not as if he just met the team. He knew how we play, he knew how to keep the team the same, he had his own opinions on who started.
I repeat I think he has every chance to be a decent coach/manager in the future. To suggest he deserves a chance at the job when Roy leaves based on what? some success with the reserves (zero pressure, no one cares) and our biggest spanking of the season at Arsenal. It sentimental rubbish

Keep Mr Hodgson on to help Paddy take over.

Now that we look safe for another season, what about...Patrick Vieira!

Wouldn’t surprise me after these 3 wins and if the remaining ones go in our favour that we will see Roy H at the helm next season?

Lampard doesn't seem to be doing any better with those same players

Our best player over the last three games has been Eze and Paddy Mac didn't pick him for a free hit at Arsenal and put Luka an Tomkins in.

It's a no from me.

Not that difficult a decision on the evidence of the last three games IMO.

this is not a difficult decision, Keep the same team next year, and let Paddy learn from the more experienced people around him.

3 GAMES 3 WINS 9 GOALS, 2 AGAINST

Am I the only person who thinks this ????

Ditto Lampard, wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. I was amazed when Chelsea took him back. If you look at the talent in that Chelsea squad it really shouldn’t be difficult to get a tune out of them unless of course there is massive unrest between players. Who knows, I’m just glad they keep losing.

Lampard is one of the worst managers in the history of the Premier league so I hardly think that has any relevance
