Some will happen, some wont.
He's no more in the know than any of us.

I don’t read the Sun so I don’t know however as I have said previously I like Dazza’s posts and want him to continue. If you don’t like them or don’t believe him, fine, don’t read what he has to say

Not relevant to this thread, but didn't Niasse do something to anger us all at a home match against Everton 2 or 3 years ago?

Or did he just score against us?

Yes we was going to sign him that year and it fell through with SP claiming the agent of the player changed the fees last minute of the window so he didn't sign and then went on to score against us.

Personally I've come to the conclusion that Dazza does have an 'inside line'. It doesn't mean that's what's going to happen, more that's what the club's intentions are at a particular moment in time.

I have not said Dazza should stop posting.
I have just stated I dont think he is as in the know as he claims.
Its a little hard to bypass what certain people write what with it being a forum.

It was more the fact that he dived for a penalty and received a retrospective ban from the FA than the goal he scored in the match.

That was never a surprise he is under 23. I doubt the tribunal will award them £12m though more likely to be £2m.

Yes and this will have been accounted for already. If we were willing to pay more than this until his injury then I have no worries about the tribunal figure. We will still get him cheaper this way.

Although I would imagine our initial January offer will be taken into consideration, so possibly more will be paid than a normal tribunal valuation. It appears that we have made an offer to stop it going to a tribunal but rejected by West Brom

According to fullcontactlaw.co.uk the PFCC decide the fee by taking into account the costs of both clubs in operating a Football Academy or Centre of Excellence, as well as the age and playing record of the player, the length of time he was registered with his original club, the terms offered by both clubs, the status of the two clubs, the substantiated interest shown by other clubs in acquiring the registration of the player and any amounts paid by the original club to acquire the player in the first place.

The only similar example to Ferguson was Cresswell 10 years ago so I would expect the initial fees to go up massively but the structure of the deal to be similar:

AARON CRESWELL

Aaron Creswell had made 70 or so league appearances for Tranmere Rovers when, aged 21, he rejected a new long term contract offer. He signed for the Championship club Ipswich Town on a three year contract.
The PFCC decided that Ipswich Town should pay Tranmere Rovers an initial compensation fee of £240,000.
An additional £45,000 was ordered in respect of the player making 15, 30, 45 and 60 appearances for Ipswich Town.
An additional £100,000 was ordered should Ipswich Town achieve promotion to the Premier League in the next 3 seasons.
Tranmere Rovers are to receive 20% of any profit made by Ipswich Town in selling the player to another club at any point in the future.

It is very difficult to predict what tribunal will decide. We bid £12 million for a fully fit player. The injury will have a great effect on initial value. there is no guarantee he will recover fully and be same player again.
In WBA favour we bid £12million in January and they made a real attempt to keep player
In Palace's favour is the injury and lack of evidence he has recovered, the fact WBA were playing him while injured (and hence possible further injury problems),the fact he has played very few first team games, the fact he refused contract before any external club interest was shown. The fact no other club showed real interest this summer.

My guess is they will go for a low initial fee with further sums on reaching milestones such as number of appearances , call up to senior national squad etc plus a sell on fee percent. After Zaha experience we fear this last part and hence tried to agree a figure without a sell on clause
