Even more confused now. The club has ruined the atmosphere? How so?

I didn't make myself very clear, what i meant was the atmosphere is ruined because of the break up, but i was not blaming the club, just sorry it has happened.

Yes, I'm so sorry to introduce some levity into a web site for people that enjoy socialising

Exactly, joking's off-limits but snide insults are fine? The moderating on here is really starting to drain the fun from this forum

And many of those weird old men were Palace supporters for ten, twenty, thirty,
forty, fifty or more years through thick and thin from the fourth division days. They are not glory hunters just because we are in the Premier league. Your remarks are totally offensive to a huge number of Palace fans so you can stick them where the sun don't shine.

don't care tbh, when I've been a Palace fan for 40 years I won't be bitching about what the younger fans get up to. If we still have a group that want to improve our atmosphere then I'll be delighted

people just want to dictate what our club should be and woe betide anyone who breaks the mould

I know, I was only trying to celebrate some of the joys of watching Palace over the decades.

My point, which perhaps I made clumsily, is that I quite admire the Holmesdale Fanatics (mind you, I don't know them) and I would hope they can be charmed back.

If fans start turning up with scarves round their wrists, chanting "OOh it's a corner" and "Knees Up Mother Brown" then the HF may be spurned into action and come storming back

I have it on good authority that a group of fans have been given permission to bring a drum in today.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Was that banging noise a drum? Thought it was someone hitting a chair.

Atmosphere even worse than the Liverpool game. Utterly dreadful. Silence for most of the game.

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

Somebody said that a banjo was being held. Heard some mooing as well.

Not at the game today as I’m in Cape Verde but followed it on line all sounds very flat, the Arthur is normally very vocal but I’m guessing the late subs left it all a bit to late to get them gping
