I thought it was well known. The one in Streatham was donated by him as of course the Tate Gallery in Millbank. He's buried in West Norwood Cemetery.

Around 2 million Black people live in Britain of which roughly half live in London in 2011. That is around 4% of the population.

The Saudis tried to take my passport from me. Used it as a threat. It was highly scary.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

This logic will be lost on these cretins as well. You’re either a w@nker or a racist for life. The more concerning things I’ve seen on Twitter are young students claiming they’ve studied Churchill and know more than anyone else. Churchill was just a politician of no real significance and everyone should read up on how he had no influence whatsoever in the war. It’s breathtaking ignorance from people who’ve never had a tax code. The difference today is they have Twitter and are more organised. Saturday will be interesting, that’s for sure. I'm from Coventry myself, the City that was bombed to pieces and suffered many deaths because of the need to protect the knowledge that the enigma code had been broken. In theory I have more of an axe to grind with Churchill than most as my Grandfather was a fire fighter who got severely burnt that fateful night, however I see, as do my parents and my late grandfather, the necessity for what Churchill did and that the decision ultimately was a decisive factor in us winning the war. To have even the merest thought that he is not important in our history is disgusting. There are currently a lot of pissed off people out there who feel our country is being destroyed from within helped in the main by a far left media. As you say Rudi, the weekend will be interesting.

It was probably a nod to the fact that many of these workers have their passports taken upon entry in Quatar for instance, which for some is the end of their life as they know it. Though the Saudia's record isn't really any better. Edited by BlueJay (09 Jun 2020 1.42pm)
