Why do you feel the need to repeat what I already said?
This story is basically, a bloke on holiday with family punches another bloke who verbally abuses him. Prescott punched a bloke who egged him and none of us blamed him. He was in the government at the time.

UK self-defence law paraphrased: "If you anticipate an attack from another, you can use reasonable force to prevent the attack and be found to be acting in self defence." [Link] It didn't happen in the UK and but if it had it's a very hard sell to state that someone walking ahead of you, who was not physical either before or after the attack was any kind of threat or that this was an act of self defence.

How do you know the guy was "not physical either before or after the attack"?

How do you know the guy was "not physical either before or after the attack"? I can't imagine why Tommy would neglect to cover the fact that he was subject to some kind of violent attack prior to or after the video in his 'in depth explanation' video. That and there is no evidence that any of that ever happened. The clip does not align well with his version of events.

I wouldn't blame anyone who has something thrown at from for reacting to that. Be it an egg or a milkshake, it's not always entirely possible to know what the liquid is, for all I'd know if it happened to me it could be acid so acting to get that person out of your vicinity makes sense. Coming from behind when someone has little or no indication of your intention towards them, punching them, then reading the toy soldier fantasies on here about how the guys head should've been stamped on however is a different kettle of fish.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle This is like a real time example of why even people who support what the man stands for, often back away from handing him their vote. Justifications for the likes of physical attacks, head stomping fantasies, Tommy's word as gospel, the list goes on. I look forward to people justifying every single cut and dry physical assault on here going forward, on account that there might be more to it or that people should just act how they see fit. And for 'freedom of speech' to now be downgraded in importance to a level where you can just hit people or snuff them out if you don't like what they have to say. "I'm not going to wait for him to attack me" i.e. he didn't attack me, alongside "he needs to keep views to himself, his mouth to himself" i.e. I attacked him because I didn't like the things he was saying. Free Speech FTW. Edited by dollardays (10 Jun 2019 2.13am)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle Chris earlier posted a good explanation of why Robinson is supported and also why he's worthy of criticism. Sure people can criticise those who support Robinson....We all know he definitely has flaws (one of which we have seen in this situation here)....However, what is far more revealing to me....is what those who 'hate' Robinson are prepared to accept and support as actions against him......that is very revealing. Also what Robinson is campaigning against, the real ugly truths he has sought to publicise about what our elites are prepared to cover for.... what he is saying isn't getting through......because those people who hold the megaphone to the public are against truth and are only interested in their interpretation reaching the public.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle Robinson need to stop interacting in the street with the public without more protection than he has. The 'wink wink' reaction of the state and wider establishment to the recent attacks on him are a complicit green flag to more overt action while at the same time providing plausible deniability. One can only wonder why you got in the trouble you did, not like you're snippy or antagonising at all. Edited by ChrisGC (09 Jun 2019 8.54pm) Ah, I love this comment. How many yellows have you had so far by the way?

Ah, I love this comment. How many yellows have you had so far by the way? Now now, make sure your own house is in order before trying to get me that red pickle. I know the battle is won when you try and do a public appeal like this to the mods. Imagine being so obsessed with a stranger on the internet that you look up crime statistics for where they live and then compare it to another random place where the populations don't even match.
