All of that, to say nothing of putting those f*cking Boers firmly back in their place.

X Oh sorry to hear that Hoof, but you can go on for ages with Parkinsons -great drugs available now..you are right though, a Palace win in the fa cup would cure all kinds of ailments. Never something i expected to see in my lifetime.........

Ah it was such a splendid sunday afternoon enjoying the sunshine with Hoof. We know we are just footsoldiers for our respective causes so things could remain cordial for one day only. I explained to him that doing an economics degree wasnt entirely useless and indeed i learned some valuable life skills, like pool sharking, lighting farts and being able to drink a pint of bitter in 2.5 seconds. Hoof nodded in approval. I also commented that i didnt receive one bet for my compelling offer of 50 lap dances if any of his regiment could say that 99% of their DAY TO DAY legal stuff is not covered by uk law, but not even a single punt even from the more vocal members of the regiment including cucking, davemonkey, willo and Dannyh. "Them blo$dy english! Just cant rely on em" He hoofed. "You cant say THAT, i protested, thats bigoted" to which he replied "dont be a t*** johnyboy" er ok then but does this mean that there is a possibility you will become a Brighton supporter? Or perhaps danny, davemonkey, willo and cucking are softening towards the remain campaign? Hoof remained eerily silent. Knock yourself out. A nice part of a recent documentary that made me smile when I thought of you stamping your feet and ordering back the tide. There's plenty I'd like to rebut in your er... what's the plural of "rhetoric", but... well. I have to work and stuff. I'm sure you do too. But I'll repeat: EU SI's, regulations and directives are transcribed into UK law - it is very rare you come across the source EU regulation, directive or act rather than the UK legal act the government is hogtied to implement it. But it's OK, right? Our MPs can vote on EU regulations in parliament, and in theory reject them, right? Wrong. Once published here: They become UK law as a binding legislative act. No ifs, no buts. When you say "I don't come into contact with EU law "DAY-TO-DAY" you merely expose your ignorance. Feel free to search here:

Ok so i have spent my day going through the conveyancing which i had to do because this is a large chunk of change for me. I also kept a little eye out for the 40% nay 70% of eu law. I had to go through a few covenants, building contracts and a niggly border dispute with a neighbour who was throwing the book at my vendor because of a 3inch intrusion from a planter ffs!!. At the end i spoke to my lawyer and said i had a few wording changes but nothing significant. But i could have asked (from davemonkeys advice) hang on what about the european credit mortgage thingy but knew he would reply with "listen Johnyboy stop talkin out of your elbow, you are not even arranging a mortgage" and that would be something with the mortgage company, not conveyancing right? Right so i didnt ask. But then i thought i better tell Paul (cos he has done my legals for 20 years) ....but Paul surely atleast 40% nay 70% of this contract is missing because i cant find any mention of the eu cross border underpants law or any other eu law for that matter. I am sure that there may be some overarching eu law that protects consumers and prevents unfair practice but i honestly could not find one. So what should i do with davesmonkey advice .....i should maybe ask Paul but you can probably imagine his response. You know what i should probably change my lawyer for being too uk centric. As for the "cheaper phone calls" rubbish, I'm sure you're very aware that it was (as much legislation is) a hand-down from the OECD, dressed up as an EU perk. It was implemented by India, Latin America, Asia and the US over 3 years ago. But yeah, nice of the EU to finally get there. It was only proposed (by the INTUG) in 1999. Why did it take so long? Well, things move slow in the EU. They have to take the WTO or OECD rules and then add all their anti-competitive extras into the legislation (just in case we had any silly ideas of trying to be internationally competitive) they then fax down to the member states. Great, eh? Here's the reality of it: much of the rules "faxed down" from Brussels have themselves been faxed in from the likes of WTO, OECD, UNECE, CAC etc etc. They then take the rules, EU-ify them (far exceed the source guidelines and thus make member-states less competitive) and hand them down. As members of the EU, we have given up our seat on these organisations. Norway, Switzerland, Gambia sit at the table, we don't. We must have one entity representing ourselves and the (divergent) interests of 27 others, all crammed into that one seat. Leaving the EU allows us to cut out the stagnating over-regulated middleman and become competitive with the wider world again. Oh. And I have no interest in a lap-dance. My other half is smoking hot.

We can't ignore EU legislation but we can certainly challenge it. Any doubts about the EU's legitimacy for making a particular piece of legislation because it does not meet a Treaty objective then national courts can suspend the domestic measures which implement it and an amendment will be made by a respective Act of Parliament.

Surprise surprise. Immigration figures have been manipulated:

Yeah right. Keep fooling yourlsef Michael and when the Federal superstate arrives, you can then look back on this time as the last opportunity to stop that which Napoleon started and Hitler had a crack at.

Surprise surprise. Immigration figures have been manipulated: Worse though Matt. They're trying to just wave it away by claiming that the gap is due to short term visitors to the UK like seasonal fruit and veg pickers. Doesn't wash. Seasonal fruit pickers would have already got NI numbers from their previous visits. Somebody or group is cooking the books and trying to suppress the news of exactly how many immigrants are arriving in the UK every year... the actual figure is probably at least DOUBLE what the "official" statistics are. VOTE LEAVE.
