Manosdedios - I owe you an apology. I missed this post.

In response to your remarks:

EPPP - load of sh*te; ridiculous that the big clubs are able to cherry-pick the best talent from the smaller clubs for a minimal fee.

Actually the fees aren't minimal. They are very high if you look at them closely. Additionally, I am not aware of Palace losing any player of significance under the EPPP rules. I would also add that the EPPP establish categories. Category 1 clubs are in a much better position to develop players than category 2, Category 2 are in a better position than Cat3 and so on.

Youth Development - ours has been brilliant in the last few years and I hope we don't lose that now we are establishing ourselves in the prem. Yours doesn't exist.

Yours has produced some top players in the past but now there don't seem to be any coming through. Is it really as good as you think? In fact we I believe we have played more youth players than you this season.

Financing of clubs - ours is done absolutely brilliantly by 4 cracking blokes who care as much for the club as the rest of us Palace fans on this forum do. We are on the road to being very financially stable for years to come. I really would hate for someone to come in and use us as some toy to play with and toss in the bin once he's done, leaving us in financial doo-doo. I sincerely hope that never happens to you lovely bunch at Chelsea...

Your club is a run very well financially, although I think promotion helped!! Additionally our owner has been with us longer than any of yours in recent history, so its hardly a toy for him. You also seem to about to sell out to an American Hedge fund consortium??

Penalties / Diving - referees cannot wait to give clubs such as yourselves penalties, and are very happy to turn a blind eye if it's going against a top 4 side. I really think it's something that needs addressing. Oh, and all your players are diving, cheating scumbags, so that doesn't help the referees much to be fair.

Well, after your weekend game against Liverpool I sure you now regret saying this. An offside goal and a penalty that never was!!

Edited by chelski (18 May 2015 10.02am)

Even the biased Sky pundits did not feel it was offside. Yes foul on Zaha was outside but he didn't dive so why the comparison? What about the foul on Lee? You probably ignored that one.

He comes on here frequently determined to make us hate Chelsea more than Manure, he's succeeded as far as I'm concerned.

Not that frequently and 'funnily enough' I don't post for you to like me!
Maybe you should try and read the many reasoned comments some of your fellow Palace fans make and maybe try to do the same.

Where did I say I hate Chelski?
You do your utmost to make others hate Chelsea
and come across as a smug know it all that seems to get off winding people up.
I did in the past say thanks after the lovely Jt own goal so I'm not all bad

If you read my posts carefully I respond to people who are respectful and attempt to engage in a reasoned way with the same attitude towards them. Hence I have had numerous discussions on here where I have accepted and agreed with people. Hence mutual respect.

However, where people, like yourself, just post comments that are either disrespectful or insulting I react in a different way. My experience of your posts is that you have never attempted to discuss anything, but have merely attempted to attack me.

In my last reply I suggested you altered your responses. People who post like you (and manosdedios!!)do so because you actually have nothing intelligent to say. I am not sure if that is because you both lack the intelligence to say anything of meaning or choose not to.

Yes you are correct am not very intelligent, but neither
am I a smug w@nker as you clearly are.

Is that the same JT who has won the Premier League 4 times, 5 FA Cups, 3 league cups, 1 Champions League and 1 Europa Cup?

How many trophies have Palace won? remind me!!

Still a racist scum bag though.

Actually according to a court of law he isn't! However I am sure your opinion is better than their's.

So that's why in the judgement there was no doubt that John Terry had uttered the words "f***ing black c***" at Anton Ferdinand.

Not to mention he was found guilty by the Fa and banned

You have selective reading syndrome:

Howard Riddle (the presiding magistrate stated in his final judgment)

"It may be worth mentioning here that the issue for this court to decide is not whether Mr Terry is a racist, in the broadest sense of the word. I have received a substantial volume of unchallenged evidence from witnesses, both in person and in writing to CONFIRM (my emphasis) that he is NOT "(My emphasis)

Yes he said those words but the magistrate stated that there was enough doubt and evidence to suggest that he may have been repeating what he thought he heard from Anton Ferdinand.

In terms of the FA, they are a law unto themselves and basically guessed. They are hardly a beacon of light when it comes to deciding on what's right and wrong.

As I said at the time why would Anton Ferdinand utter those worDs to JT?

On the subject of John Terry, I think that unless you are a Chelsea supporter, then the chances are you will probably have a perception of him as one of those players that had he not been good with a ball, could well have ended up inside.

Scummy family - shoplifting, drug dealing....oh and let's not forget dad Ted's charge for a racist attack ( maybe runs in the family then ? ), his brother having to quit Rushden & Diamonds following his affair with a teammates fiancee which ended with that team mate committing suicide ,and the man himself has been seen to be a self promoting egotist. In other words, hugely dislikable.

As a football player - respect for the season he has just had.

As a person - vile individual

Not sure you can hold him accountable for his family actions (some of which are alleged and not proven by the way).

However, whilst I am not going to just blindly accept he is an angel, the truth is many players and people 'misbehave'. I am sure he has done things he shouldn't and that he regrets.

John Terry actually does some amazing things which his critics forget. I don't know him personally and I expect that only those who do will really know the truth about him.
What I do know is that you don't hear ex-Chelsea players saying bad things about him. On the contrary many were keen to defend him when he was accused over the Anton Ferdinand thing.

My point regarding his family was that if he wasn't a footballer, then his family background indicates that his influences were such that he would have gone the same way.

I'm well aware that '' many players misbehave '', but we are discussing Terry, not anybody else.

As for the '' amazing things '' that he does, I confess that I too have forgotten them...feel free to remind me.

John Terry is an ambassador for the Make a wish Foundation. He has directly supported the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Small steps Project.
He actively supports Didier Drogba's foundation bringing health care and education projects to some of the poorest parts of Africa.
He pays for the driving lessons of every academy player.
He organises the first team to meet and train with Chelsea's U8's every year at xmas.

The list I am sure is more extensive than this....

The suggestion in court was that Ferdinand said those words accusing John Terry of saying them prior to the alleged offense. There was insufficient evidence, either video or personal, for evidence to be conclusive. You cant say someone is guilty of something unless you have conclusive evidence, unless of course you are the FA who are a law to themselves.

As I also pointed out, which everyone wishes to ignore, the court categorically stated that John Terry is not a racist.

By the way, what everyone also forgets is that England would not have gone out of the world cup if John Terry and Ashley Cole were playing.

Not sure you are a bigger club than Liverpool but like your ambition!!

The Lee foul?!?! Well this is my point exactly. You cant point to a dubious decision against you and shout that the refs are against (so-called )smaller clubs.
The ref on Sunday was clearly just incompetent and not bias.
If you look at the evidence across the season their isn't any to prove the 'theory' that teams like Palace, Burnley, QPR etc are treated any differently when they play the bigger teams. On the contrary evidence actually suggests that Chelsea have suffered more than most with poor ref decisions.

The suggestion in court was that Ferdinand said those words accusing John Terry of saying them prior to the alleged offense. There was insufficient evidence, either video or personal, for evidence to be conclusive. You cant say someone is guilty of something unless you have conclusive evidence, unless of course you are the FA who are a law to themselves.

As I also pointed out, which everyone wishes to ignore, the court categorically stated that John Terry is not a racist.

By the way, what everyone also forgets is that England would not have gone out of the world cup if John Terry and Ashley Cole were playing.

Club over Country. Couldn't give a flying f*** about the world cup. Agree we should have taken Terry and Cole but still couldn't care less

Yes that's probably true. When I was younger, growing up international football was great. I haven't watched international football now in a few years, bar a few games of the world cup.

I just feel that little players have the passion anymore to player for their countries.

I agree. I think a lot of international football has become discredited. Partly due to the appalling state of FIFA, but also the level of most qualifying games.

The Champions League will soon overtake the world cup in terms of popularity. The worldwide support for the top teams is growing in its millions every year. I am sure that if the Premier League wasn't such a good global brand the top few teams would break off with the top teams in Europe and form European leagues. There has been a lot of talk in the past of this in Spain ( the problems in Spain at the moment are more likely to make Barca and Madrid like the idea) and Bayern Munich have talked about it. The only thing preventing it is they need Man Utd, Chelsea etc to get on board (which they haven't).

Personally I am not against this. I do not believe at all that the premier league would be devalued by it. In fact the clamour for the league would be greater with more teams being able to win it and the football continuing to be exciting, whilst the European fixtures each week would be unbelievable.

Yes you would have 'super clubs' but this would then deal with the international market (the 'tourists' as many call them)as well as drive the home market in terms of the level of fixtures.

The remaining teams would then still have a great product and this would satisfy those 'haters' of the 'big boys' and all they stand for, leaving the 'traditionalists' to keep 'their football'.

Basically, you can tell us to get lost and go play somewhere else. I am sure that would appeal to a lot of people on hear

But domestically the money would be drastically reduced, as Sky would want to plough all the money into the Super League, leaving at lot of clubs in a dire situation where would that leave football? I think the first thing EPL need to worry about is losing the 4th spot, with recent results the Italian league are fast up with regard to obtaining an extra place (they previously lost this I believe), Wouldn't that put the cat among the pigeons!
