This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I have said before. If Zaha is staying why doesn’t he say so. Do you think this is a fair way to carry on with the knowledge that the supporters are desperate to get some reassurance ? Simply doesn’t make sense.

Sorry, Brommers, I don’t get it. How is that picture proof that Wilf has shut the article down? I’m not au fait with these internet ways. Edited by YT (02 Aug 2018 10.35pm) No worries! The article said he has told team mates he wants to leave, shortly after he posted a picture of him in a Palace shirt with an emoji with no mouth, basically showing he hasn’t said anything. Hope that helps you understand lol.

Simply doesn’t make sense. How can he, in football nothing is certain, his said he's happy and that's all he can say. He could come out and say I'm definitely staying then Chelsea come in with a massive price that matches the club's valuation and we accept it.

Simply doesn’t make sense. Are you serious? He must give reassurances every other week.Hes constantly saying that he’s happy where he is.Hes probably sick to death of it all so why should he constantly have to reassure people who choose to believe the total s*** that’s written on these pathetic made up online articles and newspapers? It’s completely out of hand how many bulls*** stories make the headlines. It’s up to the people who read them to use a bit of sense and decide what they want to believe.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Drinkwater plus £60M would be more realistic, but Drinkwater is the type of player that looks good playing next to Kante who mops up for him. The only reason I would want Drinkwater is to ping longballs up for Wilf to race onto. He’s a one trick pony who, without Vardy, got found out at Chelsea. I wonder though if I will actually cry when Wilf leaves, or if I will become more bitter? I don’t think we need to sell.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

So as the official confirmation of Meyer comes out, simultaneously the Mirror post an article saying Zaha is desperate to go to Chelsea... Someone is well jel maaaaaaate This guy is based in the Midlands according to his own paper. Their reputation for being fact based is certainly challenged. These are very desperate people who we shouldn't pay the slightest attention to. They can't even lie convincingly.

Did anyone see Callum Huston Odi against Arsenal the other night and see what he did to Bellerin. Then add in Willian, Pedro and Hazard. That's why this story is nonsense - unless one or 2 of these move on Chelsea don't need Zaha. It's really that simple. COYP

Whilst I don't believe this story to be true he could always come out and deny the story and say that he isn't looking to move at all His said his happy here and if he was desperate to move then he would put in a transfer request, he's a professional that wants to play at the top level he's hardly going to come out and talk the big clubs off. Basically he's happy here and not looking to move but if Chelsea came in with a big bid and the club accepted it, he would be more than happy to go and give it a go.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I think this late in the window it would be suicide to sell Wilf. There is no time to buy a replacement, we would end up paying well over the odds for.....Antonio.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Aren’t you a little bit suspicious at how we have gone from no money and FFP to suddenly paying wages that Arsenal can’t match?
