More entertaining than fun. And a lot less lethal after 10 pints.

I did write a poem on here once. More of a verbal takedown than jaunty jingle though.

Verbal takedown ffs, what world do you live in? They're words mate, sticks and stone and all that.
Back in the real world they'll do you absolutely no good when you eventually end up with you back to the wall.

There once was a man from Wimbledon,
Who thought fights didn't happen where he's from,
When it all came on top, he made a big flop by trying poetry rather than action.

His efforts in vain, his legs never the same,
As he landed in Saint Mary's in traction.

Sounds great. I feel the need to remind you that at no point should you stamp on your children if you're angry though or if they give you lip. Hopefully you already know this, but of course stamping and stomping and notions or fairness are beyond you, so again, it's important to be clear about this with you.

Now now, just because I've bettered you there's no need to cast such nasty aspersions.

There once was a lad from the states
Who couldn't win (fair) fights or debates
He started to get nasty, his tone getting arsey, so I said goodnight and farewell, even with more tale to tell, as I thought it best to end classy.

Yikes. Stick to the stomping

Again assumptions and avoidance

You’re also not talking about ‘fights’. Fight imply someone physically engaging. You’re talking about targeted vigilantism, and going above what is allowed in common law. Like the way you’re now passing it off as a little scrap.

FYI, I live in the supposed epicentre of gang crime these days. Not up my own arse in Wimbledon.

It isn't about 'fair fights'.

It's about whether it's appropriate to thump someone because you believe they may at some point attack you.

If you are truly in imminent danger then take action.

If your danger is someone that is walking away from you and you have to walk quickly to catch up with that individual then catch him by surprise and hit him in the face, I find it hard to agree with your assessment of real and present danger. Geddit?

If you think that people who don't attack people and kick them when they are down are 'soft' and not real men, your compass on what constitutes a real man is way off.

You need to start off classy first.

Indeed. Or a balanced, rational thinking human for that matter

Interestingly there is twice as much crime in Sevenoaks than there is in Wantage, which gives you the measure of the place.

If, as appears to be the case, ChrisGC has spent his life having to fight and attack before he is attacked, he seems to be unusual for his area.

One can only wonder why he fears attack so much when he is so friendly.

Why do you feel the need to repeat what I already said?

Wantage is a lovely place which I'm proud to call my home.

Wasn't born here though sweetie pie, nor have I always lived here or was raised here. But that's none of your business. There you go with your assumptions, again.

One can only wonder why you got in the trouble you did, not like you're snippy or antagonising at all.

Someone's a bit precious. Knickers a bit tight today?
