Todays first download is a set by Deep Purple that was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 3rd March 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and its sounds top notch. Some classics on this one with wicked versions of Black Night, Smoke On The Water and Highway Star. I've posted a few boots and albums by DP over the years - this is a top addition to the collection - this is great stuff.... Todays second download is another set from the recent BBC Radio 6Music Festival in Manchester on the 2ith February 2014. This is the set by The Horrors and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast of the show that sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by The Horrors that I've posted but not the first album - I've posted two studio released albums in the past. If you like The Horrors then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Hugh Laurie that was recorded at BRBF Peer, Belgium on the 20th July 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by HL that I've posted - and only the one studio album. He's backed by the Copper Bottom Band and they play some really good blues/rock/jazz.. this is not bad at all.... give it a try.... Todays second download is a set by The Allman Brothers Band that was a Fan Club only release and not commercially available. The cd is taken from the bands 3rd set at the annual Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, TX. 1996 The quality is superb and the audio is from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by TABB over the years - they play a lot of shows and lots of quality boots are available. This is only a short cd of 8 tracks but great stuff though!... Todays extra download is a set by Little Feat that was recorded at Charlton FC on the 31st May 1976. This is in superb quality for a boot thats nearly 40 years old and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. This is a rare show - I didnt think any soundboards existed of this particular gig. The main band were The Who (They had also done a gig there in 1974 which I went to) but they had large supporting selection of bands playing on the day... I've posted a lot of bootlegs by Little Feat over the years but few that feature Lowell George as lead vocalist. If you like Little Feat then grab this one.... Todays first download is a set by Fairport Convention that was recorded at the Amazing Grace in Ev anston, Illinois, USA on the 5th September 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Boots by FC in good quality are beyond rare - they are practically non existant and when I saw this one I could not believe it. I checked my files to see if I had this one - then checked my back ups and then rechecked the lot. I grabbed the show hoping to find the quality was a geniune soundboard - and bingo - it is.. it sounds wicked.. This boot contains both the early and late shows performed by the band... With Sandy Denny and Dave Swarbrick this is thoroughly recommended.... and then some!...
