Todays first download is the first bootleg or album by this artist that I've posted - and I found that incredible. This is the legendary John Lee Hooker - a giant in the blues genre for over 50 years. This is in superb quality and the audio for this show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds wicked. The show was recorded at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on the 15th July 1983. JLH developed the "Talking Blues" style - it became his trademark. He performs probably his most famous song "Boogie Chillen" on this one - a song he performed since 1948. If you like a bit of blues - you won't get much better than this.... this is thoroughly recommended... and I will be post some more John Lee Hooker in the coming week or so....

Here is a download link I found for :-

Todays second download is an audience recorded bootleg of a show by Pink Floyd that was recorded at the Boston Gardens, Boston, MA on the 18th June 1975. I rarely post audience shows as the quality is usually total crap. This is one of the rare exceptions to that rule... an audience recorded boot thats absolutely unbelievable. I've heard worse soundboards than this one - and its a top tracklisting with Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here being played - and finished off witht he classic Echoes. I've posted other shows from this tour - I've not yet compared them, but I bet this is better than some of the so called soundboards or fm recordings...

Here is a download link I found for :-
