I know they are, along with the likes of Dennis Skinner and Corbyn too if he was being honest. Also, as you no doubt know, my post was just a little joke about the posts complaining of the left/right ding dong stuff.

So with labour we are to have 'unimpeded access to the single market'.

I guess that's more than I thought he would say so I am cancelling my Vince Cable-knit sweater and returning to the fold, together with a cringing apology to Nick G.

Whoever is organising labour online is doing a good job the emails are timed perfectly to coincide with the themes of the speech.

I just don't associate labour with the digital age and efficiency but there we are.

Floreat Corbyn

Quite a few techies in labour. Grassroots movement people chip in with their expertise when needed.

I've just ploughed through the last several pages of this and it's all "you're a nazi, I'm not talking to you" or "Well you're a commie, so I'm not talking to you more", "but you hate brown people", "well you're a kiddy-fiddler". FFS!

Next to nothing added to the debate for ages except personal abuse between two entrenched sets of people who are more interested in point scoring over each other than an intellectual debate.

You can genuinely read the username and know pretty much exactly what the post is going to say.

Whatever happened to the occasional "well that is a good point that I hadn't considered, but I would counter with this...", or have we all just sunk to the levels of the average MP?

Sad.

Yes and yes.
Far too many decent brains here spend far too much time on things that ultimately are irrelevant, imo.
Time that could be far better spent asking themselves why they are worse off than their parents/grandparents (in some cases) ever were. Why their children are screwed.
This is so much deeper than Red v Blue.

I just wish more would see it.

And that's just the Jew-haters in the Labour party.

Parties set people against each other and so many end up playing the part. I can see why people can get drawn into that, but it's important to see the wider issues beyond that. If for example Freedom of Speech is only something that people get passionate about when it's 'their lot' under attack, it basically amounts to not believing it in at all.

Politicians, industry and lobbyists have been hand in gloves for decades, convincing people to back pointless wars or that they need to erode civil liberties, always apparently with our interests at heart. Any angle to weaken the grip or awareness of the population is one worth pursuing. That's why they hate the Internet so much.

Still waiting for your list of HOL fascists/racists. Are you going to name and shame them?
