Todays extra download is a set by The National that was recorded at the BBC 6Music Festival in Manchester. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by The National over the years - this is another top sounding boot for the collection. If you like The National then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended.... Appreciate the Bert Jansch albums staffie - will enjoy listening to them on the beach in the sunshine away from this damn snow. More predicted for tomorrow - bloody stuff has been here since mid-late November.

Todays first download is a bootleg of unreleased demos and tracks by Yes vocalist and front man Jon Anderson. This is in superb quality and the audio for these tracks has been taken from the studio soundboard and sounds top notch. The first disc is a musical based on the life of Daphne Charters and her relationship with the fairies. The second is called Chagall and is about the Russian artist Marc Chagall. The album notes in the file give a more detailed history of these discs. Bootlegs by Jon Anderson in good quality are very rare - I only have a few myself and was amazed when I saw this.. I immediately grabbed it. If you like Jon Anderson, I suggest you grab it as well... this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a boot by David Bowie that was recorded in Dallas, Texas on the 27th April 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundbaord and it sounds top notch. This is not a live show - rather a pre show soundcheck and it also features legendary guitar player Stevie Ray Vaughan on a few tracks. This is a wicked bootleg with some classic tracks by the Thin White Duke like "Space Oddity" "Jean Genie" "Heroes" and "Rebel Rebel" all being played. Todays extra download is a bootleg by Kiss that has been put together by a fan. It contains tracks from various dates, venues and era's of the band. The quality throughout is superb and it's a wicked bootleg of tracks.. This is a rock n roll cd for Kiss fans - great stuff.... thoroughly recommended.
