The European parliament’s Brexit coordinator has warned the home secretary that Britain’s recent treatment of foreign nationals could “colour” MEPs’ attitudes to whether they approve a future Brexit deal. I think it already has, and that is the main reason for the delay. The EU parliament is not represented at the negotiations, much to their annoyance, but they have the final say. Mrs May and Rudd's treatment of EU nationals is an utter disgrace. Never thought my country would be like this.

Am I the only one who finds this constant left/right ding-dong bloody tiresome? I've just ploughed through the last several pages of this and it's all "you're a nazi, I'm not talking to you" or "Well you're a commie, so I'm not talking to you more", "but you hate brown people", "well you're a kiddy-fiddler". FFS! Next to nothing added to the debate for ages except personal abuse between two entrenched sets of people who are more interested in point scoring over each other than an intellectual debate. You can genuinely read the username and know pretty much exactly what the post is going to say. Whatever happened to the occasional "well that is a good point that I hadn't considered, but I would counter with this...", or have we all just sunk to the levels of the average MP? Sad.

We are all just thumb-twiddling waiting for something to happen re:talks or a major announcement or a hands-up 'I fvcked up. We should stay' from Boris so end up with playground banter (infants) to pass the time.
