I wonder why. I've long since given up engaging with people like you on here. I prefer to watch from the side and snigg3r at you frustrated remainiacs going through the 7 stages. And, as for the "s***show", you've clearly not read the Varoufakis reveal of how the EU deals with "dissenting states", including "information campaigns" exactly like the ones you guzzle down to sake your unquenchable thirst for anti-Brexit confirmation bias. Yup, less than impressed with how May (a remainer, after all) is dealing with our departure, but I thank the stars above it isn't PM Corbyn dealing with it. Beyond that, I'll just be glad we're out, assuming we are actually going to leave, and not just in name. Edited by davenotamonkey (27 Sep 2017 1.05pm)

Edited by davenotamonkey (27 Sep 2017 1.05pm) You seem to admire Varoufakis, here's what he's been saying: "Former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis told the leadership of the U.K. Labour Party to adopt a “radical Remain” stance on Brexit" - supporting remain. "He said he told them the U.K. “would expend huge amounts of economic and political capital in pursuing withdrawal,” adding: “We can be critical of the EU without seeking to leave it.” - supporting remain again "“It’s a sad day when the Labour Party is defending the end of free movement and, indeed, promising its end,” he said, but added: “By proposing a genuine transitional period, Labour has shown greater political initiative and seriousness than Theresa May. To maximize this advantage, Corbyn and McDonnell must continue to develop an alternative vision of Brexit.” - he supports freedom of movement of people

Not really an adult way of looking at things is it. The UK staying in the EU is better for Greece. I wouldn't expect him to say anything else on that score.

Edited by europalace (27 Sep 2017 2.07pm) No. Really, no. It hasn't. As a grown up, I'm able to distinguish between someone's political views and their experiences negotiating under a similar capacity to those currently doing so under HMgov. I neither agree with nor admire Varoufakis' political views, but I do find his commentary on the tactics deployed by the EU very informative. One can hold such position, you see. Meanwhile, you've amply demonstrated why I don't bother contributing on here. Now, off you f***.

europalace, I think you'll find although Corbyn may be against 'free' movement, he's not against movement of labour. He says there's still likely to be a lot. He's more against movement of Labour driving down living standards of British people in Britain. Do you oppose that because emigrating worked for you? Or is it because you just agree with anything the EU does, regardless of what it is?
