Why don't you and Stirling go to Aleppo and sort the civil war out yourselves? How's your intestines doing?....I thought I'd ask seeing as you have your head so far up your backside you'd be able to write an article on them. But as far as your thoughts on Syria....I'll pass.

UK is at least the sixth most powerful military force in the world and some recent studies put us second behind the USA. Doubt that but in any case nuclear submarines are of no use in places like Syria.

John McDonnell doesn't think there will be a run on the pound or capital flight, so need to get so many red knickers in a twist then, although he is planning for such occurrences. Pity Gordon Brown didn't see such economic possibilities the same way.

So 500,000 have died in the UK since the referendum, nearly all oldies, and 500,000 have turned 18 too in that time too. Be very interesting if there was a second ref in a year or so. Leave would be battered.

If they were invited en masse into post graduate jobs in the same way Poles were by Labour, I'd like to see their reaction. No more big cars on HP, waving 'I'm European, not British' flags on the dole.

You see! We'll be fine after Brexit because kind Mr Trump, the US President, will offer us a really excellent trade deal based on massive tariffs designed to protect US jobs

I'm planting daffodil bulbs today at the front of the house. At election times, we are plagued by Liberals knocking on the door urging us to subjugate our parliamentary democracy to the unelected EU Commission. To perhaps deter them, I'm arranging the bulbs in such a way so that when they flower they will spell out 'Heil Hitler'.
