British foreign policy partly responsible for Syrian civil war. Heard it all now. Some people really need to read up on these matters before posting s***e.

It is interesting that when the s***show that is the government's carrying out of withdrawal is brought up the thread fills with anti immigration rhetoric and ad hominem attacks rather than the minutae of Brexit itself. I wonder why.

Something tells me that if Britain had become militarily involved in Syria you would be dead against it and complaining about it. Some people will damn you if you do and damn you if you don't....partisanship fuels them more than the rights and wrongs of particular issues. Personally I was very much for Syrian intervention.....but your Labour party ensured that it wouldn't happen in Pariament. The state of Syria now is partly down to the space that decisions like that left for actors like pro Assad Russia to fill. Edited by Stirlingsays (24 Sep 2017 12.37pm)

And how did the EU's foreign policy approach differ from the UK's? And I concur with Stirling. Your sort would have got out your 'not in my name' placards if troops were deployed to Syria.

Just makes you look even more foolish and narrow minded than you already are which is no mean achievement. Btw Exeter voted to Remain and 45% of my town did too. Explain that. ONLY because it is a Labour council and has a Labour MP my friend. If you come a little bit further down to Plymouth where I live you will find most voters here voted OUT and we have two Tory MP's the third MP was voted in for Labour due to the student population stupidly thinking that their fees would be free What a gullible lot they turned out to be in the end. They cut their own throats as they voted in Plymouth as well as their home cities which has been picked up by the voting commission and the rules will change at the next general vote. Corbyn will have a shock when all the "brainy" students will not vote for him due to all of his lies which is coming out more each day. Corbyn's con will gradually finish him off I am afraid.

What could UK soldiers possibly do in Syria apart from getting wiped out. Only Russia is there as they have bases there. These days are over for the UK. Why don't you and Stirling go to Aleppo and sort the civil war out yourselves?
