That’s like a meeting about a meeting about a meeting. What next a vote on who has the worse local issues No, it’s to ensure we never again risk our future being left to the winds of chance which are implicit in any referendum.

I don't recall unions/strikes in the Blair/Brown era, you would have to go back to the late 1970/start 1980s for real strife. Corbyn would have been a better PM than Johnston, as Starmer says, so what is his beef with Jeremy. 8 out of 10 members want him restored, and 56% of the public think so too. Starmer's clumsiness has been over-shadowed by the tories dire campaign. A bit of socialism wouldn't do him, and the country, any harm.

Same old rhetoric , just before 1997 election, there was all the guff how once Blair won the left would take over, the unions would have the government in their pockets and Labour would crash the economy, what we got was no left wing takeover, a record low of days lost to industrial action and 50 consecutive quarters of economic growth , i do wish people would take their heads out of their backsides and realise this is not the 1970s those days are long behind us and lets just get rid of this government that is rotten to the core Well said.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

As many will see in the coming 18 months and then after that the regret will show its face. Pensions, savings, house buyers, schools. All going to get nailed but hey a change is as good as a rest I suppose

Varying between the out and out public ownership of even your soul and the encouragement of the industrious and support of the disadvantaged that is social democracy, and every stepping stone in between.
