We only have 3 games left V what are considered the big clubs. Two of which are in the next 3. That just leaves spurs away. We also have the scum and fulham. Other than that all our remaining games are V the nine teams below us. The last 5 of those are at home. It's in our hands and with just 11/12 points needed if we go down from this position then we deserve it.

It's not great but slightly more comfortable reading alongside the other team's next 3 fixtures as posted earlier. I absolutely agree that if we cannot muster a dozen or so points by the season's end we would deserve to go down.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

As for finances I'm afraid the current investors including Parish, will be unwilling to finances a decent championship side if they cannot do it in the epl.

You make some very good and hopeful points, my concern is our inability to score or even have shots on target and in order to win games we have to score at least one goal and hope we can then keep a clean sheet!

We look to be so lacking in confidence that it will not matter who we play the oppo will think they have a good chance of beating us.

Maybe we've been dead unlucky that we've had a block of hard games all together?

Unfortunately, we may be 12th but 20th is 6 points behind us so it is all becoming very compressed and any team 12th or below is in danger of the drop even though PV seems to think otherwise!

I'm nervous. This idea that much easier games are to come just doesn't wash. We'll be playing teams just as motivated or likely more so, and will see Palace as a win opportunity. Is this side ready to battle? Add to this the fact that we can't score and it's going to be a nail biting end to the season. Not happy: we're the most painful team to watch in the PL. I think most people would be glad to see us go down. Edited by Eaglehamster (06 Mar 2023 12.07pm)

I would like to think Steve Parish is now looking for a new manager who will be ready to replace Viera in the international break we are clueless under Viera's stewardship 2 games with with no shots on target what do they do in training we are so bad its embarrassing Bournemouth had more shots against Arsenal than we've had this year

What I struggled with watching Palace on Saturday and for most of this season us that if you watched the Southampton v Leicester match after our game they were both giving it 100% Southampton to hold onto 1:0 and Leicester trying to get back into it. Not saying they played well but they both went at it to get a result. We on the other hand played it at snails pace and never went at Villa to try and get an equaliser. We didn’t press them at all and because our build up is so slow it just plays into the opponents hands. I do believe this is more down to how PV sets us up as well as an unbalanced team. It needs changing and soon but does PV know how to do this?
