Awb is not coming to Palace, I've been told that for a long time, and Gallagher is staying at Chelsea, so we will see, obviously that number 8 is vacant, we definitely need someone.

The thing with transfer windows is nothing is certain tbh. A lot can change in a short time. It wouldn't surprise me if either of these move did/ didn't happen.

Gallagher I think is far from certain staying at Chelsea although for me it all depends on who they get in. Chelsea strike me as a team without a proper transfer plan atm. Holes in their squad, last minute attempts to gazump other teams on their targets Cucurella and DeJong.

As with the Cucurella rumours of Colwill going in the opposite direction...I can see their pursuit of Fofana being one where they also offer numerous players in exchange, especially as Leicester are yet to buy anyone! I could easily see the likes of Gallagher, Broja, Gilmour etc start to be linked with that potential transfer.

However it's all ifs and buts.

With the ownership changes at CFC whoever is in their "player transfer decision team" they were always going to be late to the party this year so its not really surprising they are trying to play catch up -given that their pre season didn't go so well / highlighted shortcomings its not difficult to imagine that they will probably make some knee jerk decisions in order to maintain some respectability during the coming season -

If I was a transfer representative of Leicester , Everton, Newcastle & pretty much anyone else I would probably be camped in a hotel in Cobham, in constant touch with the CFC training ground HQ making sure I was aware of whatever player that suddenly became available -

If CFC suddenly buy several 60 mill players there will be a lot of interesting pickings left on that table for the rest of us to feed on.
