That figure again 94%

Or you could say 6% of all the reported covid deaths were accurate.

Disgraceful and disgusting.

Presumably some on here will still wish we had stayed in? EU showing what they are really all about

Serious question Maple. What are the rules relating to visitors into Care Homes? Do you have to have been vaccinated and a close relative? We have an ex neighbour who has very few relatives (none close by) and I was thinking of trying to pay her a visit. Thanks in advance

I would hope that even the most passionate Remainer would admit that the behaviour of the EU has been poor since Brexit.

It is one thing to confiscate a truckers sandwich or make life difficult for our fishermen but this nonsense over the vaccines has put the lives of their own citizens at risk, shameful.

There are far bigger issues still to be resolved than a short term win over vaccine distribution.

It's a long haul, big picture process.

If those pressing issues can be resolved, and the government plan of creating a business first strategy by encouraging enterprise zones, enticing tech and so on is planned properly and comes off, we will be in a great place.

But, this is government we're talking about, and they have one shot at this to resolve the big issues and get the strategy right.

Good points although I don't agree with the one shot comment.

Governments make mistakes all the time they can still rectify them who know Boris may blunder and Labour come in and play a blinder with the economy.

If only we could go to the pub, Badger.

The report was on OAN a cable tv channel with millions of viewers. Not quite MSM but not far off.

Of course, but my point was it's always better to nail it first time, especially on such a critical, time sensitive matter.

Mainly because any mistakes or strategic mis steps will damage business credibility and also allow others to take full advantage. Coming back months later with a fix could be too late

Essentially having a clear, executable plan during this brief period of transitional chaos is going to reap massive rewards. To not full take advantage of that would be damaging.

It was from September though, using spurious data from August.
