Does this sound familiar? Much better to get everything out in the open and scrutinised than kept in the dark and allowed to fester.
It's always best to get things out in the open and scrutinised. So long as it's done honestly and objectively. What's not is to deliberately try to spin it so it makes things worse. The Mail is particularly bad at doing this.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Blocked booked a hotel in St Ives I would also anticipate some holiday caravan parks to be used. Those that have some degree of insulation and heating. They are mostly empty in the coming months, but still present problems as do the hotels because their staffing levels drop off too and cannot just be turned on at a flick of a switch. Providing sufficient security would be a nightmare and I expect there will be plenty who walk out. Some holiday parks have been requisitioned here by the Council for difficult to place locals searching for rented accommodation. The kind of people who cannot pass referencing and declare themselves homeless! A problem that is sure to grow in the coming months

Who decides if it's honest and objective? It ought to be obvious. Anything that over emphasises particular aspects, and puts a political spin on things, isn't. Something that just lays out the facts, without trying to over interpret them, usually is.

So you decide then. For myself, yes. Others need to make their own judgements. If people choose to trust what's written in places like the Mail, that's up to them. I will just keep on questioning the wisdom of doing so. That's up to me.

Very wise! Manston is just housing development in the making. Never made it as a passenger airport because of the poor access but used to be a hub for air freight. I think the HS1 (High Speed rail link) isn't far away but no cared to do a link to the airport. The fruit/ crop pickers visas would have been temporary and they shouldn’t have been there out of season. However, once again, no one cared. I remember going to Tenerife from Gatwick years ago- we took off and 10 mins later were landing- we thought wow, aircraft have got so much faster since last year! It was Manston- about 20 people got on and we took off again- on the return journey the same thing happened- weird!

Alp Mehmet has huge experience in this area.Immediate temp measure of one or two cruise ships in international waters to be used as processing centres. At the very least should weed out the Albanians
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Why do the " charities " aiding and abetting the illegal migration attempts hate the UK so much they will not use their efforts on worthy domestic causes.? Insufficient kudos from their echo chambers I suggest.
