No,all someone has to do to be branded a racist is to make a number of comments suggesting they have a clear propensity for holding and spouting racist sentiments. Not everyone raising anti-immigration points of view is a racist and it would be absurd to suggest otherwise.About as silly as anyone labelling someone of vaguely "left" views as an admirer of,say, Trotsky or N Korea or Stalin. There are some of a "left" persuasion who do admire Trotsky.Far from all but they are there.There are some who are of "the right" and who are "anti-immigration" who give the clear impression of being racist and are rightly called racists.Far from all,but they are also there.

Please forgive my lack of any talent in that area and for not meeting your own high linguistic standards (never studied law at a Poly let alone a Uni).I will try to follow your example (I would say meet your standards, but alas I could never equal them) more closely in future, if I can

Here's my starting homework (to be written out ten times):

1.I thought it was reasonable to suggest that people who write racist things (and only such people) can be called racists (and bearing in mind the immigration-related context of the preceding posts and other threads on here).Having taken your comments on board, I now know its an "idiotic" thing to say.

2. I thought it was reasonable to suggest it would be ridiculous to say all who are "anti-immigration" are racists.Now I know from you that's "idiotic"

3.I thought it was ok to suggest it would be equally ridiculous to say all on "the left" admire Stalin or Trotsky or N Korea. Now I know that was "idiotic".

4.I thought it was reasonable to say some on the left (but far from all )do admire,for example,Trotsky.Now I know that was "idiotic".

5.I thought in light of the above,it was reasonable to say some (but far from all) who are on "the right" and "anti-immigration" are racists. Now I know that was an "idiotic" thing to even suggest.
