Todays first download is a set by Billy Joel that was recorded at the Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, Long Island, New York on the 11th December 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a pre FM broadcast soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've only posted a few bootlegs by Billy Joel over the years - good quality shows are quite rare - and this is in great quality. Some great tracks by "The Entertainer" on this one including "Just The Way You Are" "She's Always A Woman" and "Only The Good Die Young" all being played. If you like Billy Joel - then grab this show.. this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!... Todays extra download is a bootleg of demos and outtakes by Pink Floyd recorded for their album Animals. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've lost count of how many boots by Floyd I've posted over the years - but when you've been going as long as the Floyd, there are bound to be a load of boots available. I hadn't seen this one anywhere and I can't see it in my files anywhere so if you like PF and don't have this one - grab it... this is great stuff... Todays first download is a set by The Cure that was recorded in Paris France as one of the famous Black Sessions on french radio. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set - and it sounds fantastic. I've posted shed loads of boots and albums by The Cure over the years - they always put on a good show and this is no exception. Some classics on here like "Lovesong" "Charlotte Sometimes" and "Primary" are all played. If you like The Cure - then grab this show - thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called Honeymoon Suite and this is a show recorded at the Kingswood Music Theatre, Toronto, Ontario on the 30th July 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. The band formed in 1981 and is still going today - they have had a number of line up changes over the years and only one original member is now left. They have released 9 albums in total and a few singles. This is a live version of their album "Racing After Midnight". If you know this band then grab this show.. if not, give them a try.... Todays extra download is a set by The Dave Matthews Band that was recorded at the Woodstock USA Festival on the 24th July 1999. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots in the past by DMB - this is another top show for the collection - the version of Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower" - is worth the download on it's own... a wicked version. This is a great set - thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Led Zeppelin that was recorded at the Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY on the 13th February 1975. The quality of this bootleg is amazing - possibly the best LZ bootleg I've ever heard - and I've heard loads... and loads... and loads. I've previously posted 4 other boots from this tour - all are superb quality, but I think this one just edges it. Great setlist with some real classics - especially a wicked version of "Stairway To Heaven" .. with Jimmy Page and the band on top form and then the band are joined onstage by Ronnie Wood for the final track "Comminication Breakdown".. this is a must have for any LZ fans.... thoroughly recommended.. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is very short - only 3 songs and an interview.. and the set is acoustic with Al Stewart joined by Peter White on guitar.
