100%. The government have been shy to distinguish the risk level, by pushing unfortunate younger outliers at times. Any death is a tragedy, but for instance masses of Uni students had Covid and almost universally they breezed through it. Put a group of 85 years in that same set up and the outcome would be horrendous, and so people need to factor this is when they consider vaccination and the like. Agree again. I held this view months ago. It was the false hope I had a bit of an issue with. But I suppose they had to manage the public mindset or expectations. They might’ve known this would’ve gone on for a year or two. Nudge nudge. If this does actually save them with limited testing then marvellous.

250 in ICU. What has changed or without protections ie lockdown and rules could this bug actually get more virulent and deadlier. Sort of getting 'braver'.

Let's not forget the disasters that were predicted for Sweden....not just a little worse than their neighbours but ridiculous numbers of deaths.

Sweden has proven, at least to me, that their guidelines were the better course.
