Todays first download is a set by reggae legend Bob Marley. This is a set recorded at The Quiet Knight, Chicago on the 10th July 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a crackin' set in a small venue which gives the sound a close up feel to it - like you were there... a good setlist which includes the classics "Trenchtown Rock" "I Shot The Sheriff" and "Natty Dread". I've posted lots of BM shows over the years - this is another top sounding show for the collection... This is great stuff and thoroughly recommended... and then some...

Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Anathema and this is a set recorded at the Lowlands Festival in Holland 1998. The quality of this show is superb with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I know nothing about this band and thought they were a really heavy metal band, but they sound more prog orientated to me. I've had a quick listen and they are not bad at all... why not try them?...

Here is a download link I found for :-

Hi staffie, thanks for posting. Anathema are a great modern English prog band. Their sound has evolved since this era with various line-up changes. They now have female lead vocals on some tracks and their sound is much more prog. You posted their last two studio albums for me "Were here because were here" in 2010 and "Weather Systems" in 2012.

Todays first download is the first solo album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted - although you may have heard him if you've downloaded any of the Alan Parsons Project albums and bootlegs that I've posted as he was the voice behind the band. This is Eric Woolfson and the rehearsals for his album Dancing Shadows. This album was completed after Eric had died in December 2009 - details here : [Link] This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the studio soundboard and sounds top notch. If you know of Eric Woolfson, then I know you will download this... it's thoroughly recommended.... and then some!..

Here is a download link I found for :-

Todays second download is a bootleg of rare tracks by German electronic band Kraftwerk. These are mixes of various tracks that are unavailable on officially released discs. The quality of the mixes is superb and they sound great. A good tracklisting - although some of the tracks tend to run from one track into another with no break betweek tracks. It seems to make the music flow better and the whole boot sounds wicked. If you like Kraftwerk - I thoroughly recommend this bootleg of mixes....

Here is a download link I found for :-

Ultra Rare Tracks - Kraftwerk (Bootleg)

Quality : Superb
Bitrate : 160Kbps

Todays extra download is a set by Matching Mole that was recorded at the BBC in London in 1972 - the exact date isn't listed. The quality of this show is superb and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Robert Wyatt formed Matching Mole after getting fed up with the way his own band "Soft Machine" were going with their music and said publically that he would be better off in another band - that caused a lot of friction between band members and RW was thrown out of his OWN band. Maybe that’s why he picked the name “Matching Mole” for his new band. It’s a free interpretation of the French words “Machine Môle” which means Soft Machine (or, to be more precise: Weak Machine). If you like Robert Wyatt or Matching Mole - then grab this show... this is the only MM boot I've ever seen... and it's thoroughly recommended.... and then some!.

Here is a download link I found for :-

Live in Concert at The BBC 1972 - Matching Mole (Bootleg)

Quality : Superb
Bitrate : 320Kbps

Tracklisting :

1. Instant Pussy
2. Lything and Gracing
3. Marchides
4. Part of the Dance
5. Brandy as in Binge

Download Link : [Link]

Filesize : 57.9MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting)

The Band :
Bill MacCormick,
Dave MacRae,
Phil Miller,
Robert Wyatt
