Yeah, Labour's stance on Brexit is crystal clear and the party are completely unified on the approach. That article was written by a Tory MSP Brexiteer who was part of the Leave.EU campaign. Hardly an unbiased source. Groups he's part of have lead campaigns to get Tories deselected who aren't ardent Brexiteers (most prominently spreadsheet Phil). Leave.EU was Farage's motley crew and not the official Leave Campaign. I would therefore dismiss it entirely as anything other than extreme partisan bias against a party whose stance is to maintain the single market status for as long as it takes to get a deal which replicates or betters its benefits (i.e. ages).

If I could get an "extreme brexit" and a "no one knew what they were voting for" out of you fairly soon i'd be well on my way to getting a line. Now to actually answer your point... It doesn't matter if people amend the bill, hell i'd probably support most of the amendments myself. What matters is getting brexit through one step at a time in some way shape or form, not shooting the whole thing down because a few democratic results didn't suit your own personal agenda....

Genuine question; are all you Brexiteers genuinely happy with how things seem to be going currently? You post this on the day of the "state of the union"?! The event where the EU desperately attempts to confer legitimacy to itself as a fledgling democratic unified superstate. Did you read the s*** they have in the can? Is this the "we're listening to your concerns" EU populism drive? Who are they appealing to? I'm happy. Very happy merely by virtue of leaving the monstrosity. I'd be a crap negotiator, because by this stage I'd be signing anything under my nose to get us the hell away for what's in store for the remaining "member states" (remember never to refer to them as countries in their own right - they need to get used to their subjugation and capitulation). But otherwise, yeah. It's fine. I'd want more teeth from the UK, a firmer stance, and some hard lines on the consequences of continued negative briefing from the EU side, but that's not really the British way. I'd prefer walking away and setting up a trade deal with them when they can't use the two year Damocles sword to pressure us into a deal we'll regret. I genuinely worry they will try to bind us in a huge network of interlinked inflexible bilateral agreements with guillotine clauses designed to bring the whole agreement down. This is what the Swiss have to put up with. Meanwhile, idiots on here actually believing all the briefing and handily leaked nuggets from the EU side, blissfully ignorant of the tactics they've used in the past in very similar circumstances against the Greeks (Go read some Varoufakis). It's kind of cute watching them naively swallowing the misinformation mainlined from the EU and regurgitating it on here. Stupid British! Thick Tories! Incompetent Davis! Useless Government! Bigot Brexit! Brexs***! Go watch the "state of the union". Go read the last 5 president's report. You can thank us leavers later. Or don't bother, not fussed.

Will the uberarmy will try and invade us? Don't member states have power of veto on any of the (in places quite ludicrous) report?

The only thing necessary for the triumph of Boris is that good men do nothing. Well done stats guy for speaking out.
