As soon as anyone says anything against the majority on here, comes the statement 'typical lefty'. You know that doesn't have to be true. Why is Farridge so quiet after stirring the pot for thick racists? And since when is lootng shops, destroying a library and setting fire to a Holiday Inn in Rotherham patriotism?

I’m sure players like Eze, Mitchell, Olise, Zaha, Schlupp,Guehi, all born in the UK to immigrants would feel welcomed by the posts on this thread. Do you think they would? Or do you think they would be shocked? Or don’t you really care? My opinions are not dependent on other people's feelings. How does your post have any relevance to the discussion? No supporter ever asked for an influx of immigrant players as we see today. That was a symptom of globalisation. Football supporting is about the club, not player's identity.

People are entitled to peacefully protest about whatever they like, just so long as they cooperate with the police and stay on the right side of the law. Even if their reasoning has been influenced by misinformation and appears illogical to others. That just means that others, mainly our government, need to peacefully explain why they think their reasoning is wrong. What people not entitled to do is riot, destroy property, injure police and threaten others. Those who do must face the consequences. If people are genuinely concerned about the safety of children, even if they have been misled about the terrible event in Southport, then perhaps they would do well to actually address the biggest danger that our children face today. Which isn’t, despite Southport, people armed with knives, for they are rarely any danger to small children. It’s the internet and it’s all encompassing capacity to spread hatred, sow misinformation, isolate and threaten. I suspect, without proof, that when we get to understand what triggered the senseless attack in Southport, we will learn that the internet’s ability to spread hatred and lies unchecked has played a role. Agitating to get something done about this would bear much heavier fruit than rioting over things that are much more perceptual than reality. Others agree. You might like to read this:-

Did you get upset by the looting during any other riot? I don't remember you posting about it.

This is a thread about the murder of little girls, and yet the usual occasional visitors are only bothered by the angry reaction. I guess that tells you something.

I too have wondered where Farage is because he could actually do something useful for a change and try and talk some sense to the boneheads. Now he is an MP he does carry some responsibility in that regard. He is probably in the US having a love in with Trump and devising plans with him on how they can support each other.

Think you know who I mean. My point being that I thought these demonstrations were about the murder of three young girls but I appreciate that may have been a bit hard for you personally to understand.

Why then have most of the comments been trying to justify the unrelated rioting by thugs all over the country? It’s not an angry reaction at all. It’s orchestrated rabble rousing.

Not hard to understand, just loaded with the usual double standards. So one more time. Did you bother to come on and complain about the looting during the BLM riots? What about the riot in Croydon, where a shop got burned down?

You know that doesn't have to be true. Sure, but it usually is....and the resultant posts usually prove it such. Originally posted by Tunbridge
Why is Farridge so quiet after stirring the pot for thick racists? Sigh. Originally posted by Tunbridge
And since when is lootng shops, destroying a library and setting fire to a Holiday Inn in Rotherham patriotism? Who said that was patriotism?....that's a straw man argument.
