If we get him I'd imagine any further additions will be down to who we get shot of to off set all this spending, expecting Yala will go if someone pays 20 million & possibly Ledley too but can't see any rush of calls for Campbell

Agree that 2 strikers would leave is short but I seem to remember someone on here putting some interesting stats together that showed that this is the first time wickham struggled with injuries so no reason to expect that this is what he'll be like next season, fingers crossed. That said, a third striker may not be such a priority - who are we realistically going to attract on the basis of being third choice for us? And how much would we want to spend on that where it would be better spent elsewhere. As a third choice, Campbell would not be the end of the world and there must be players floating around in the reserves too, plus bolasie can play there, he isn't the greatest in that role but remember we are talking third choice.

All this is purely hypothetical and is only relevant if we sign benteke, which i'd almost come to terms with not happening. I'm now back to checking this site every 2 minutes for updates!
