Well if it all finally happening then I suppose congrats are in order for the Board, but it is a shame that their shambolic transfer dealings have us with one foot in the Championship. I doubt we will fill our new stand(S) there.
We could close the Main Stand in the Championship and still fit everyone in.

Can’t have it all can you.

Possibly, but there is still the major question of planning permission.

Looks like the planning application will arrive sooner rather than later

I had lunch with my architect friend yesterday. He believes that the club have made their choice regarding the main stand. If that is the case then we should expect to see some planning application over the next few months.

So unless we've agreed a price on the 'slither' of car park us as fans didn't rally to Steve's public moan on price, there isn't anything to announce.

The best thing to happen right now would be 4 wins before Christmas and some tough games in that period. Until then, unless we've got the go ahead, I can't see any announcement other than some designs for something we haven't got the agreement to do.

I think Parish wasn't willing to waste any money on this unless he was ready to dive completely into it to start and finish so perhaps why he wants to announce it. But unless there's something going to happen, there's not really much news, apart from heaping a bit of pressure on the council and locals to not prevent the pro club supported by thousands for years before they bought in the area.

Do other clubs make big announcements without planning permission, unless I suppose they get 'the wink' it'll go through somehow?

Come on Rudi, you’re being a tad harsh again. 3 wins and a draw should suffice before Christmas.

4 wins by new year please.

And must agree it sounds as though SP's amazing news is likely nothing more than we've picked an idea... which is pretty f***ing lame considering.

Maybe we’re re-naming the main stand. The ‘Frank de boer stand’ anyone?

Why not?
The stadium plans should not affect people's ability to make sensible decisions.
