Ah it was such a splendid sunday afternoon enjoying the sunshine with Hoof. We know we are just footsoldiers for our respective causes so things could remain cordial for one day only. I explained to him that doing an economics degree wasnt entirely useless and indeed i learned some valuable life skills, like pool sharking, lighting farts and being able to drink a pint of bitter in 2.5 seconds. Hoof nodded in approval. I also commented that i didnt receive one bet for my compelling offer of 50 lap dances if any of his regiment could say that 99% of their DAY TO DAY legal stuff is not covered by uk law, but not even a single punt even from the more vocal members of the regiment including cucking, davemonkey, willo and Dannyh. "Them blo$dy english! Just cant rely on em" He hoofed. "You cant say THAT, i protested, thats bigoted" to which he replied "dont be a t*** johnyboy" er ok then but does this mean that there is a possibility you will become a Brighton supporter? Or perhaps danny, davemonkey, willo and cucking are softening towards the remain campaign? Hoof remained eerily silent. Hahaha... very amusing Johnny.... I like it mate.
I've portrayed an image on here that you have captured exactly.... bravo sir! X

Typical Cameron bluster/lies......... IDS reveals Cameron's weak strategy in "reforming" the EU as he promised the nation he would, never got off the ground cos he's too scared of Frau Merkel. As usual when he's caught with his pants down, he immediately refutes the allegation. I'm betting on him confirming it's all true by at least the weekend. Oh and this news not resulting in a rise in the polls for Corbyn.

Latest YouGov poll has 42% - remain, 40% - leave, 13% don't know and 5% who didn't understand the question. A lot closer than I thought it would be as it stands.

It'll get closer the nearer we get to D Day too. Cameron's strategy of scaremongering is losing traction now and today's revelation by IDS is probably just the tip of the iceberg... there will be more to come.

The remain campaign from the government is starting to look as bad as Goldsmith's.

I don't think he has been scaremongering but just highlighting the very possible downfalls of leaving which, in turn, has been been seized upon by the 'Vote Leave' lot as putting the willies up us. They have to take that stance as not to would be admitting he may have a point and that can't happen. He has to put the info out there and ex-Nato heads, a majority of business leaders and independent economists and other world leaders would not also be saying basically the same thing if there wasn't something in it. Cameron - double first at Oxford, Prime Minister, is not a stupid man. Far from it. He is looking at the likely immediate effects of a Brexit and sees plenty of negatives as well as the longer term view that we are stronger in.

I wonder how many of the 42% are actually basing that on the economic uncertainty and how many are just defending rights of workers and migrants? Of course of the leave camp, a lot are anti-migration but these people see the numbers of EU workers in their professions.

Cameron is playing a game. When the EU demanded a further £1.8M a couple of years ago he was as Eurosceptic as it was possible to be... probably on a par with Corbyn. Now the two are lining up fully behind the Remain campaign because it suits their political agenda, not because they believe in it. You bigging up Cameron is just the same thing Kermy. Outside of this referendum debate you wouldn't have a good word to say about him or Osborne would you? As somebody else said on here recently - it's the "muppets" that will decide it and right now the message that immigration is choking our country to death is resonating with those who are most affected by it. Talk of the economy being stronger doesn't cut it.

As Kermit says, I don't think it is scaremongering, the tone of the debates was inevitable Bright new world v scary new world. Personally, as I've said before the campaigns for both this and the local elections have been absolutely woeful. Next referendum should be run by Simon Cowell

Hopefully with much the same result. It was looking good for remain till they started campaigning in earnest... The £9M spend on a glossy booklet delivered to every household wasn't the best of starts, then inviting Obama over to preach to us! I think Blair, Brown, Major and Corbyn endorsing the remain camp was the final nail for a lot of voters.

After the last election and UKIP vote I reckoned 35%-37% for 'Out' come the referendum. Changing that to 45%.
