I don't know why people say 'I wish I'd added 2,3,4 more results' after already selecting 4,5,6,7,8 results correctly. It's hard enough picking a double or treble with teams at 4/6 or more on a regular basis so doing it with more isn't a given whatsoever, even yesterday and even with Barca playing some team of no-marks. Even they can slip up.

The probability of winning is obviously in your favour if each week you don't include every single result you fancy. I picked out 13 and 3 of them didn't happen. 2 of those were in bold, although I think I meant to take off the bold for Watford as I fancied the BTTS as high probability and Watford win not so much.

Yesterday was one of those days where you could see it was going to be a day for the punters. I said it beforehand and EDN said similar as well. It happens a few times a season but this season the 1st few weeks had predictable results as well, and the bookies didn't have the form to price them how they'd like either.

On saturday I Backed Forest, Rochdale and Northampton to win or draw (2 trebles). £30 each.

1 minute from a £300 win when Exeter scored that kick in the balls last minute winner.

I made up for it yesterday though - I back Coventry v Gills BTTS (always on the cards) 4/6 - in a double with Saints v W Ham DRAW 11/5.

£30 double = £160 win.

I suppose I could be smug and say my homework paid off. I noticed Southampton hadn't scored many and Allardyce's sides are always resilient - they're not a team to back against. Big Sam sets his side up to be hard to beat and they'll see that as a good away point. Thought it would be a stalemate straight away.

Won £450 on 2 accas on Saturday. Best win in a few years. One was a 7 Team one for £315 (9quid bet)and another 4 fold for £135 (£5 bet). Proper happy with that. Had Brentford to win in the 4-fold, wasnt really paying any attention to it as all 4 teams were losing at one point. Saw at 90mins Brentford were the only ones letting me down......then they score twice in 5 minutes of injury time!! Nice little bonus.

Had a few quid left over in my account and placed a double on Hoffenheim to win inplay (with 10 minutes left to play) and Malaga. Doubled my £7 to £15.

Following a rolling acca on Twitter now with that 15quid. Starts with £10 on Bilbao to beat Celta Vigo later.
