As an aside to my above post, this was the article which reminded me that flu cases were eight times higher last year than the year before. Given that it is now emerging that Coronavirus was around last December, doesn't that strike you as coincidental?
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

I knew you would say this and avoid the question. Come on, you don’t know, do you? How was that avoiding the question? Look, you're perfectly within your rights to refuse the vaccine and take your chance with the virus. But the more people that take your stance, the more people get sick, the more people need hospital treatment and the more people die. The more vocal that anti-vaxxers are also helps sway others who may be easily influenced with their misinformation and scare mongering who might then end up getting sick or potentially dying. There's a reason the government are looking for respected celebrities to help them boost the take-up of the vaccine.

The vaccine prompts an immune response in the body so that it fights it before it takes hold so it does not get to that stage. Most vaccines work by injecting dead pathogens which mean the risk of any spread is greatly reduced. I still don't really get the wider point you are getting at though.

I’m not sure how being careful about taking something which is still unproven in the wider public amounts to spreading misinformation. I’ll happily tell anyone I’m not happy about taking it at least until we have more information but it would be wrong to tar everyone who feels this way with the anti vaxxer brush. The ultimate issue with what you say is, what if something goes wrong and they find out that people with a certain genetic make up react badly to this new technology. How would you feel then?

It’s a shame the same question wasn’t tweeted here because this is the answer this expert gave, on a left wing radio show and station. [Tweet Link]
