Todays first download is a set by Mr Pink Floyd himself - Roger Waters. This is a show he recorded in Quebec on the 7th November 1987 while he was on the "Radio Kaos" World Tour of 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on Westwood One Fm radio and sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of albums and boots by RW over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. A collection of solo and Pink Floyd tracks are performed on this set and if you like Roger Waters you will definitely want this one.... Todays second download is another set by Jeff Buckley following on the my previous boots. This is a show recorded at Arlene's Grocery, New York on the 9th February 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds wicked. If you''ve downloaded the previous shows I've posted, you're probably downloading this one already - if not, give this a try - then go back and download the others. I still have a couple more to post which will be in the next few days... This is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called Whale and they are a Swedish band who started in early 1990. They released 4 albums and a few singles. In 1993 they released a single called "Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe" which went on to be a hit for them in quite a few countries around the World. It was re-released the following year and it got saturation airplay on MTV and reached the top 30 in the UK. This is a show that was recorded in Camden, London in 1995 - the exact date and venue aren't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast that sounds top notch. I don't know anything about this band - I remember the single that's about it... the audience seem to like it... give them a try... Todays first download is a bootleg by Van Halen that was recorded originally in October 1977 but remastered in 2005 and it sounds superb with wicked stereo separation. These are the demos that Eddie Van Halen took to Warner Brothers Records when looking for their first recording contract - which proved to be successful and most of these tracks made it to disc at some point. This is great stuff with some wicked tracks - if you like Van Halen this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio for the boot has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds wicked. I've posted a lot of PT boots - including one just the other day!.
