Why would a card suddenly mean we get stopped more?

You are probably right, I don’t think it will, however it will mean we have to show it more, at Cinemas, bars, restaurants, football matches! Freedom of movement will disappear and if it has to be swiped every time you go somewhere then your whereabouts will be known virtually constantly especially as you can already be targeted by phone and by use of a bank card. I am not sure I am entirely happy about that thought.

There are many benefits to tracing CV19 contacts. The current Track and Trace is not fit for purpose, and has also led to a massive increase in road and pedestrian CCTV.
My 44 yr old sister currently very ill at home with CV19, because some ignorant parent(S) decided to waive the rules and then bring their kids to school where she worked. Now the school is shut for 2 weeks, it becomes extremely difficult to track the infected children.
So these PhoneApps that alert people and all that stuff, seems to only be monitoring people's movements, but not actually being effective in making sure people isolate. Bl00dy difficult when children are asymptomatic and don't even seem to need a test.

Like I said earlier, King Herod was right. We need to kill all the children, and especially their dumb-fook parents.

Just a suggestion

I disengage, I turn the page.

How do you know they broke the rules?

Sorry to hear about your sister, hope she fully recovers soon.
Has it been proved she contracted it at school ?

Yes same forest, best wishes and i suspect my mrs got it at school but unless you do a protein test it's impossible to know. I think protein cells from the infected person covid matches the spreader. They did one early doors somewhere to prove a super spreader.
Wont happen I'm afraid but more than a coincidence.

Great news about the vaccine being approved. Looking forward to getting back to normality at some point over the next few months.

And it sounds like those not vaccinated aren’t going to make any difference to your ‘Covid safety’ or ‘staying safe.’

It’ll take longer than the next few months.

Ha, yeah unfortunately I think you're right given how everything has gone so far.

Still, some light at the end of the tunnel.

But also because the vaccine doesn’t stop Covid spreading. Covid stops Covid spreading. The vaccine may or may not reduce symptoms. We’ll see early on whether a protect the vulnerable and let the rest get on with it is an acceptable policy.

We’re now about to go into a 2 year vaccine safety trial.

Indeed, just as well we weren't bogged down with EU bureaucracy It would probably still be being discussed in Strasbourg & Brussels.
