Was well worth setting the alarm and getting up to watch the Fury fight!! Yet again Fury showed us that Wilder is technically an awful boxer... He has absolutely nothing in his locker except that devastating right hand, which when you're up against World Class boxers like Fury is simply not enough. He has no movement, no footwork and no boxing brain and eats far to many heavy shots which is not good for his health.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I thought he was taken out by the doctors? Perhaps, but I suspect it was the disappointment. Yep, you hope that with all these hard fights that Cheeseman has made a tidy sum because he's taken an awful lot of punches.

A fantastic performance from both fighters. Technically and stamina wise, for his size, Fury is a different animal. His ability to recover too; that's four times in three fights that he's been put down by Wilder but he just keeps on coming. Full credit to Wilder for putting on a better display than his previous effort and for showing a massive amount of heart. He left it all in there and is unlucky to have been at the top of his game at the same time as Fury, as there's likely few other fighters that can live with his power. He'll probably call it a day now, but tbh I'd like to see him continue.

Uysk won’t last with Fury, he is too small and will get pushed around. AJ has no hope of beating Fury would only fight for the purse. Basically Fury is a beast of a man, 6ft 9 in and 20st, who can box and move. Wilder had the best chance of beating him out of current heavyweights, by landing a couple of his right hand bombs, nearly did it in the 4th round.

Only 2 fights make sense for fury, offering step aside money to Joshua and facing usyk next, which I think makes sense for Joshua tho hearn has said they ain't interested. Or fighting whyte then the winner. Tho this is fury and boxing we are talking about so it wouldn't surprise me for the wbc to make him franchise champion, fury to wait around for Joshua or usyk and whyte vs ruiz Jr for the vacant wbc title. Fury is no doubt the greatest of this generation but when comparing him to previous greats, the one thing is his inactivity. If he can get 4 big fights over the next 2 years then he will be up there among the greatest heavyweights.

Without a massive improvement AJ will lose again, but if he doesn't take the fight, he won't have a route to redemption.

His career hinges on it, as its still the road to a huge money fight with Fury, which would nicely round off his career should he beat AJ. Beyond that I can't really think of anyone else Fury could be perceived as needing to beat. Job done.
