Cameron is a decent man?! Was he decent when Israel was bombing the s*** out of Gaza's children, and he refused to condem it? Is he decent for slicing up the NHS? Is he decent for taking benefits away from the desperate people that need them? I see no compassion or human decency in him whatsoever.

Laugh at me all you like, but I can see Corbyn riding this ridiculous wave of filth in the press and becoming the next Prime Minister, despite what all the supposed experts say.

Edited by jcreedy (18 Sep 2015 8.09am)

Why would he condemn a retaliatory strike by Israel?... all the Palestinians had to do was stop firing rockets at Israel to avoid their children dying... they weren't specifically not targeting children in Israel were they?

You talk like the fight between the Palestinians and Israel was/is an equal, two-sided affair. Israel has the military capabilities of the West behind it and is chocking the people of Gaza into submission. It's prolonged ethnic cleansing.

Edited by jcreedy (18 Sep 2015 11.08am)

It isn't fair I agree.... the Israelis want to live in peace, but their homes are continually bombarded with rockets. The Israelis do not bomb Gaza without reason.

When a fly buzzes round my head I tend to swat it.

Then why do they continue to commit war crimes through illegal settlements in another country's land? Why do they so savagely criticise America's deal with Iran which was made specifically to diffuse tension in the region? Why does the Israeli foreign minister call for beheading Arabs and sending Palestine back to the stone age? Why have they bombed children playing on a beach?

You comment only on their supposed failings, but ever since Israel was formed, the Jewish people have been under siege from the surrounding Arab nations.

They do want to live in peace, but they are not allowed to.

As for bombing children on beaches, that is collateral damage. You have no idea whether children of Israel have been hit by the rockets launched.

Wow. You really come out with some corkers Hoof, fancy telling that to their family? And as a matter of fact I do know if kids have been hit by Palestinian rockets. During the last round of fighting, 5 Israeli civilians died, including one child, compared to over 2000 Palestinians, in a nation where the average age is 17. You do the maths.

Edited by serial thriller (18 Sep 2015 11.39am)

Numbers are not important....... one child dying is too many.

I cannot understand why such emphasis was placed on the photos of the child washed up on the beach when two days before an air tight refridgerated lorry killed 71 people including kids.

People needlessly dying anywhere is a tragedy.

Israel/Palestine needs sorting out, Syria needs sorting out, etc etc.

There's no point blaming one side, it takes two to tango.

Sometimes the greater blame lies on the side of the aggressor and one side is forced into fighting to protect itself.

I've read that Nigel Dodds MP (who stood up in the House of Commons and condemned John McDonnell and was solemnly 'seconded' by Cameron,), attended a wake for Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) leader John Bingham.

Of course Dave, who is against all forms of terrorism is on the case. Isn't he?

The UVF weren't killing innocent British people in shopping centres...

Correct. The were killing innocent Northern Irish people in their homes, on the streets, firebombing a primary school and having a nice little side job as The Shankhill Butchers. Lovely people. The best.

And children continue to die in Gaza at the moment due to the blockade Israel is placing Palestine under, preventing vital medical and humanitarian aid reaching those in need. Bombing is merely the most visible way in which the Israelis are persecuting their neighbours.

The blockade is there to prevent the Palestinians getting their hands on more rockets or worse.. more powerful weapons.

All they have to do is sign up to a peaceful settlement and the blockade will be lifted.

That doesn't explain away similar actions by the Israeli Government towards the Palestinian people in The West Bank though. Nor the hundreds of other state crimes committed before Hamas even existed. Collectively punishing a people for the deeds of a minority is always done by sh1theads.

Oh I get it.... the Palestinians are entirely blameless for this whole affair, like the Scousers at Hillsborough.

Sorry? In what way are the "scousers" guilty

You had to be there..........

We've done that topic to death.

I am not reopening Hillsborough I am sure it was done to death, I want you to tell me why the "scousers are guilty"

And we don't have "had to be there" because we know two things

1. The stadium didn't have a safety certificate and
2. The policeman in charge on the day said he wasn't up to the job and hadn't been briefed. It was him that opened the gates at the lepping lane end

So again why are you having a pop at the families of the bereaved who are entirely innocent.

I am guessing you are not following the inquiry

Err, you wrote that.

No hoof wrote that making a tenuous link to Palestinians being "Guilty", read the thred. I am calling him out on it. That could have been Palace in the Semi Final

As usual over-reaction.... You know I wasn't having a go at the families or the victims. I said the Scousers weren't entirely blameless, you said guilty.

Despite what the latest inquiry says, a lot of Scousers turned up without tickets and a lot of them climbed in. They were also drunk too... one local publican testified as such.

They had a part to play in the tragedy, just as the Palestinians have a part to play in Gaza.

I'm not going over this again - you can "call me out" all you like.

Corbyn reminds me of a harmless old metal work teacher I used to suffer the odd hours tedium with at school.
thick gruby cord strides.
would moan a lot about nothing to do with what he was meant to be on about, then tell you to get on with it and sit down & piss himself(slightly)

You post that that you worked in appalling conditions but loved it...maybe your employee didn't piss in your pocket but I have a suspicious it would have made no difference. You would have fetched the stick just as quickly with the extra weight to prove loyalty.

And then post disparaging remarks about Corbyn's style because they don't tie up with the media manager's view of how politics should be done.

The difference between you are people who voted for Corbyn is they don't buy the bulls*** churned out by the press and and advertisers, while it's what you regard as your five-a-day.

Maybe you have got things back to front a bit. Is the media over influencing you? I would put good money on you always buying the washing powder that was advertised just before you went shopping. I bet you wonder around shopping centers smelling of Linx thinking you are about to be mobbed by bikini clad girls!

The old Bert the Nobhead media slur.

Why do you always fall back on that?

I suppose you only read the Epsom Post?

You had a perfectly fair point to make that some people take the attitude that Palestine can do no wrong (the same is true of Israels support but they are a country surrounded by people who don't just want to defeat them but wipe them off the face of the earth. However making that point wasn't enough you had to make the entirely irrelevant link to Hillsborough.

To say they are not "blameless" is to say they are in part to blame. I rather think the family of the victims would feel victimized by what you said.

If you turn up to a game without a ticket why do you get into the stadium? Because the Policeman in charge opened the gates. Similarly it is interesting to note that the people selling the alcohol to drunks are being used as a source of information. This is irrelevant. doubtless the same is true at Selhurst Park every other stadium. So what? On its own it has no impact on the number of people died but smacks of the way the police tried to monster the victims straight after the event. Briefing papers with lies that the Liverpool fans were robbing the dead bodies and other s***. Also more significant was the fact that the stadium had no safety certificate

Maybe I am over-reacting ..but that could have been any one of us that day.
