I see they're (The BBC) holding a songs of praise at one of the migrant camp's churches. How ludicrous. The BBC point scoring again. Look, I feel sorry for some of these people but there is NO ROOM!!

What exactly is your issue with SOP being held there?

#confused

I suppose the Christian church has to try and recruit from somewhere since their numbers are virtually non existent.
Unfortunately we are importing some even dafter religious loons from abroad to make up for it.

Oh joy.

More people go to church than go to watch premier league football and the latter is really quite successful

They've come a long way to get as far as Calais. How is it so few of them get picked up en route?

That's right. The problem is that most of them come through southern Europe ie Italy, Greece etc and they palm them off to northern Europe and France palm them off onto us. None of the other EU countries take immigrants on the scale that we do.

To be fair, I think both Italy, Spain and Greece have a lot more than us.

Most countries take more than us with Germany taking far more than anyone. Look how poor Germany is as a result of this......pardon......oh!

I know it doesn't fit with the UKIP narrative

Gallop did a poll in 2012. About 12% go to church weekly. Rather more than go to Premiership games

While people still fear death and are willing to suspend reason for comfort stories we will have religion.....In some form at least.

Church attendance has been declining for decades and continues to as its old base dies off.

Unfortunately the high immigration that the lefties love so much continues to bring in a higher rate of religious people.

There is a huge amount of data out there. Go look for yourself but the attached is from the UNHCR. By the way they get much less money coming here than say Germany France or Norway

No I don't.

You mean 1 million claim to go to church. That is less than 2% of the population. Not very many is it.

You are interpreting stats to fit your political viewpoint..It's almost boring...For example, Germany takes more because its a larger country than us.....Also when you say they get less money coming here you're playing around with margins.

Here they get more chance of a job and housing than in other EU countries.

Hopefully at some stage the infrastructure pressure and housing situation affects yourself.....Maybe your tune would change somewhat.

It doesn't work like that.

Your claims are inaccurate and if you want to make such claims it is down to you to produce supporting evidence, not me. I would also point out FYI that France and Germany are much bigger countries than England. The US is not even in Europe.

Its certainly down a lot. But not many compared to what? That's three times the Premier League attendance on any weekend and comfortable more than watch the top four divisions. Is it your view that "not many" people watch football?
