I drove past a packed pub in Beckenham (I know the name of it) the last night before lockdown at the start of November so this probably isn’t surprising. Lots of people inside standing, and I mean lots. Edited by Rudi Hedman (30 Nov 2020 10.06am) I found that zone 1 was pretty good at obeying the rules because it was under the spotlight. Except for that the closer you went to central London the more the pubs were packed. People and businesses were taking the piss. Away from big cities, people bend the rules. But people in those areas know how to bend the rules without getting caught. They are sensible enough to know as long as you don't blatantly disregard the rules then nothing will happen. Still, I quite like the videos of people quoting Magna Carta incorrectly to the police and incriminating themselves. Should be fined for stupidity.

Only a true leftist can pinpoint Obama as someone who can talk about 'truth'. Liars pointing at other liars with the pretence of righteousness.

Not an exact comparison though. New Zealand is bigger than Britain with a population half that of London and 40% of them are in Auckland and Wellington.

I heard that 140 million worldwide will end up in starvation.

Not to mention a 3 hour flight from our obscure convict colonies, whilst London is a global transport hub. By deaths per Sq.m of population we are probably best compared with Belgium.
