Todays first download is a set by The Who that was recorded at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark on the 7th July 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted shedloads of albums and bootlegs by The Who over the years but I can't see this one in my files or backups. A wicked setlist with classics like "Baba O'Riley", "Magic Bus", "Wont Get Fooled Again" and "Pinball Wizard" are all played. If you like The Who then grab this show... this is throroughly recommended - and then some!.. Todays second download is a set by Huey Lewis & The News that was recorded at Slims Place, San Francisco, CA on the 23rd May 1989. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted many boots by Huey Lewis over the years as good quality shows are rare. This is a good one with a top setlist which features his earliest hits Hold On To What Youve Got as well as one of his most well known - The Power Of Love. Combine those with a few covers of well known songs and you've got a wicked show... this is that show... and it's thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Grant Lee Buffalo and they come from Los Angeles, CA. They were formed in 1991 and stayed together until 1998 releasing 4 albums and a few singles. They toured with REM, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and The Cranberries. Lead singer and founder Grant Lee Phillips reformed the band in 2011 and they are still going today (Thanks Wiki). This is a set recorded in Paris for France Radio Inter Black Sessions Show on the10th September 1993 and the quality is superb. If you don't know this band - give them a try... this is great stuff.... Todays first download is a set by Bruce Springsteen that was recorded at the Palladium, New York on the 17th September 1978. As you may know Springsteen isn't really my favourite artist - but a lot of people like his music, and if you do this is wicked. A remastered soundboard from the "Darkness" tour of 1978.. the quality is superb, really top notch. A 3 hour set with some Springsteen classics like "Thunder Road" and "Born To Run" as well as a few covers. Bruce is backed by the E Street Band which includes Little Steven and the Big Man Clarence Clemons (RIP). If you like Springsteen - then this is a must have....
