Todays first download is a set by Alan Parsons Project that has been put together by a fan and has used bootlegs from the "Eye2Eye tour. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of APP bootlegs and albums over the years - this is another top sounding show for the collection. A top setlist as well which also includes some Pink Floyd stuff that AP worked on... This is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by Simple Minds that was recorded at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow, Scotland on the 4th September 2005. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Some classics by Simple Minds on this one like "Waterfront" "Alive & Kicking" " (Don't You) Forget About Me" and "Sanctify Yourself" are all played. The crowd are well up for this show and so are the band and put in an incredible performance. If you like Simple Minds - this is thoroughly recommended - and then some! Todays extra download is a set by Stevie Nicks that was recorded at the Great Woods Center For The Performing Arts, Mansfield, Massachusetts on the 19th August 1989. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a cracking set by Stevie which features a lot of her solo work as well as a few from her days as singer with Fleetwood Mac. If you like Stevie Nicks then I thoroughly recommended this one.... Todays first download is a set by Steely Dan that was recorded at the National City Pavilion, Cincinnatti, Ohio on the 13th July 2008. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. The mix of this show is amazing - all instruments and vocals are well up in the mix... top stuff... and a wicked setlist and show. The backing band of musicians are fantastic - as are the backing singers. This is a great show and if you like Steely Dan you MUST HAVE this one... Todays second download is the last ever set played by James Brown and its a set he recorded at the BBC Electric Proms at the Roundhouse, London on the 27th October 2006. James Brown AKA The Godfather Of Soul died less than 2 months after this show. The quality of the show is superb and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is one for any fans of James Brown - thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by The Band (in fact it's actually only 3 of the original members - RIck Danko, Richard Manuel and Garth Hudson) joined by the legendary bass player Jaco Pastorius (Weather Report) and a set recorded live at the Lone Star Cafe, New York on the 6th January 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. The band performed two shows on this date and this one is the late show. If you like The Band then grab this one... this is wicked and thoroughly recommended...
