Here is a set by Vampire Weekend that was recorded in Paris, France on the 21st November 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few boots and albums by VW over the last couple of years - this is another top sounding show for the collection. If you like Vampire Weekend then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Here's a set by former Led Zeppelin bass and keyboards player John Paul Jones that was recorded at The Joint in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 1st November 1999. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and is fantastic. Some classics on this one - both solo tracks from his instrumental album "Zooma" and a good selection of LZ classics like "No Quarter" "When the Levee Breaks" "Trampled Underfoot" and "Black Dog". Todays first download is a set by Eric Clapton & Dr John that was recorded for the VH1 television show "Duets". Two sources are used for this show - and both are here - the tracks 1-9 are from the pre-fm tape reel and 10-18 are from the TV broadcast of the show. I can't really tell the difference between them - they both sound wicked. I've posted lost by these guys individually but this is the first show I've seen with them both together. If you like EC or Dr John - then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Cheap Trick that was recorded at the International Amphitheater, Chicago on the 19th June 1979. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted shed loads of CT albums and bootlegs in the past - this is another top sounding show for the collection. If you like Cheap Trick then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by A Flock Of Seagulls that was recorded at the Top Rank, Brighton on the 1st May 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a BBC FM broadcast of the show - it sounds top notch. AFOS started in Liverpool in 1979 by brothers Mike and Ali Score and had a few hit singles with "I Ran (So Far Away), "Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You) and others. On this tour they were promoting their second album "Listen". If you like a bit of new wave synthpop then this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a solo set by former Genesis drummer/vocalist Phil Collins that was recorded in Washington DC on the 20th February 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the vinyl pressed transcription discs that were recorded - 3 discs with 5 sides of music - the final side was blank. The show was aired on the week commencing 27th June 1983. This was the last night of Phil's "Hello, I Must Be Going" World tour and PC and the band give a really top show. If you like Phil Collins - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended....
