I mean he ran an entire campaign on the basis that there weren’t enough resources in the NHS, of course now the seams are starting to rip he is going to double down this viewpoint.

Prediction: by this time next month, people asking questions about decisions made in March will be branded in large parts of the media and popular discourse as selfish and disrespectful of the dead, scoring petty political points off a national tragedy.

Meanwhile the people who allowed this to fester will be shielded by the press.

This is a result of aggressive testing identifying actual cases and quarantining as early as possible.

Ridiculous, they have coped well as a result of them aggressively identifying clusters and containing the spread. They learnt their lesson from the first SARS outbreak.

German has huge levels of migration and haven’t seen anyway near the level of deaths we have vs cases. This is a result of aggressive testing identifying actual cases and quarantining as early as possible.

That we should spend billions and billions every year just in case we get a 1 in a 100 year pandemic. We had enough ventilators for 99 years (see above) So a lockdown in Italy and Spain hasnt worked. Why would it here. All you would get is people criticising because their liberty has been taken. That is all they can do because no one has been here before.
