Out of interest does anybody who supports this statue being destroyed like that have an idea where a line can be drawn?

Is it just slavery? Or could you say justify going into Libararys and destroying books you don't agree with? Paintings whose subject matter you loathe? Is there a limit? And who sets the limit? Who are the arbiters of what is tolerable in the public sphere?

Just throwing this out there. If Maple/DanH or others who are supporting these demonstrations, had a relative who had been a victim of George Floyds armed robberies, would they think he is a Saint. Why has no-one spared a thought for these people

How do you feel about grooming gang history being destroyed although that was 10 years old and slavery is 200 years old when stopped in the west.
