Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Let's hope that, this time, he's got all his ducks in a row and any 'announcement' is actually realisable and not more pie in the South London sky like this: That's it. It's a new pie. Minced beef and onion. I actually like minced beef and onion. It knows what it is and doesn't pretend to be what it isn't. It's cheap meat minced up and edible, with the bonus of plenty of gravy to wash down the pastry. Not like those 'steak' pies which is poor quality beef or chuck or skirt that after hours of simmering before being baked in the pie, you may just be able to bite your teeth into. Thanks, Steve. If you pull this off you'll prove you're the best chairman ever, rather than best since Arfur Wait.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Parish referred to a South London stadium for Croydon, so we’re definitely staying in the borough. I would think we’ve come to some agreement regarding the main stand rather than a move. After so much disappointment, most of us don't dare get excited.

I hope we are going to expand Selhurst. Sorry to sound sentimental. annoucement before xmas, all will soon be revealed. I have always found it difficult to understand how we could possibly develop the ground whilst still playing there.I appreciate the work was done at Liverpool without moving ground but I really don't know the terrain there and the contraints - I know much more about 'Selhurst Park' ! I have also on numerous occasions expressed concerns about traffic flows in an extended SP with the additional pressure on the residential roads surrounding the ground. I'm not an architect or have a planning background so perhaps my views are total and utter codswallop.
