Many people from your party refer to their generation as racists and bigots. No, I remember my grandad and my uncle, most fought out of a combination of national and family duty and expectation. It was the culture of the times. That's why most of them would view the types like your mate with contempt. Your uncle fought in WW2?

Best you don't visit any EU countries then as I'm sure they're going to be far too dangerous for you. Bad, bad countries with banks all going to go pop. In fact everyone is selling the Euro so fast it's soon to be worthless. By the way how is the GBP/EUR exchange rate now? Best stay at home, what about Butlins or Blackpool for your next vacation? Really? Why do you say that? It's your strawman, not mine. I'd wager I've lived in more countries than you have, spread across a considerably more diverse region of the world. And I did so by merit and due to demand, rather than a perceived God-given right to be a prikc in countries unfortunate enough to have to accept me by virtue of the socialist experiment they subject themselves to. But once again, there you go - pathetic attempts to draw the ire of posters here, so you can feel all smug and superior that the responses you get confirm what you already knew. Given you likely suffer from some kind of personality disorder, I do feel pity for you - I guess you can't help it. Had you considered that some people cannot actually afford to go on holiday? And that, in fact, that the most some can stretch stretch to is a short break in the UK? Is this your kindly EU socialism showing? Is this your EU tolerance of others breaking through? Sneering at those that might consider such destinations entirely viable? What a truly disgusting specimen you are. Do you think the people reading this, coming from backgrounds where even a holiday is an aspiration, where shopping for things in Poundland might be a requirement, do you think these people are won over by your bile? Now, as to the article TUX linked to: I think it is a real worry that the EU is going in this draconian, authoritarian direction (a worry, but not surprising news). As I mentioned above, there is precedent for this, as they screwed over Cypriot savers. The more we can insulate ourselves from the EU, and the Eurozone, the better IMO. There will still be contagion and fallout, but damage limitation should be a fiscal priority.

Not replied to my earlier post to you, then?[/quote] He wont reply to message, offers or anything that does not fit into his tiny little world of being a keyboard warrior I am afraid so do not hold your breath! I think you should make a little video like the one featured here.

'Taking back control' is the great deception perpetuated by Mrs May first as home secretary then as PM. We could easily have taken back control of our borders already under European Parliament and Council Directive 2004/38/EC, which allows EU member states to repatriate EU nationals after three months if they have not found a job or do not have the means to support themselves. The directive is voluntary and the UK decided not to enforce it while Mrs May was PM, other member states do. No amount of parliamentary or media scrutiny has found the reason why there is a complete cover-up.
