The EU is being unreasonable shocker.

Interesting developments in Poland: Could they be stripped of EU voting rights for wanting judicial independence? Could the whole house of cards come tumbling down?
The only thing coming tumbling down is Sterling.

A few disagreements is a bit of an understatement. Poland is enacting law that would remove EU judicial control of its laws. Whether you respect my opinion or not, and frankly I couldn't care in the slightest either way as you have proven to be intellectual devoid, this is a significant matter. It undermines the whole ethos of the federalist project and highlights a schism between West and East EU countries. I have said this before and will say it again. Why, instead of trying to blunderbuss its project upon people, doesn't the unelected elite of the EU listen to what the citizenship wants? By and large that is an economic freetrade zone & co-operation on important matters such as security and energy. Sadly for the elite, the one size fits all approach simply doesn't work, ever with EU governance or the Euro. If it did, then the EU would have done the right thing and enacted political union years ago in order to underpin the Euro. As for your sterling comment, remind me, as I have asked previously, what are the economic pros and cons of a weakened currency?

Rumpole, we have seen language soften from the City leaving enmasse to the present situation of Brexit 'might' cause job losses. Could it be because the theories on the Remain side about the effects of Brexit are just that, theories? Of course they are theories at this point, though I would suggest somewhat more cogent theories than those on the Brexit side

Not cogent, just politically fuelled bulls*** and you & your ilk lap it up and accuse the other side of fantasy.

I await your response to my question on the pros and cons of a weak currency.

And I await your response to my offer of a face to face meet up which you have very carefully avoided for a few weeks now. Are you frightened to meet someone face to face or as I said are you just a keyboard warrior that hides away ????
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Trouble is that Europalace is just keen on having a go at one and all of us on the Holmesdale through his keyboard but is not man enough to face to face discussion which makes me think he is full of bullsh1t and a wimp. As for his yacht and pink Gins he spouts about all the time I think he has an affliction of some sort which maybe just maybe a face to face meet up might help him with a cure for it.
