"sold our soul and culture down the drain",
what does that mean?
They were just a bunch of snowflake kids with big flags, who expect to get everything they ask for.
I really didn't think they were missed against Liverpool, and they won't be missed in the future.

Proper paradox this. Cannot believe there are so many pages on this...and here I am adding to it!

We'll miss the atmosphere created by the HF, Monday's flat effort bearing this out.

They shot themselves in the foot seeking a '"...we want to move or else" ultimatum.

There's no going back so it's up to every single one of us to raise the roof once again..

They were missed, no drum, and it was fookin’ lovely without that drone!
I can’t believe fans are saying the atmosphere was bad, of course it wasn’t going to be its best, we were losing and everything was going against us, but all things considered I thought it was still a decent atmosphere.

I think the scales are suggesting they’re missed but considering it’s the first game, it’s often flat during the end of the school summer holidays and we conceded a penalty on 44 minutes and although competed really well but didn’t have any lengthy spells of dominance or danger, the lower Holmesdale without the Hf isn’t completely dead, although the pointless chants have to go.

Slagging off, other Palace fans, not once but an obsession with you.
These "snowflake kids" fought back an attack from Swansea youth who deliberately, targeted their pub.
Swansea youth - who have rep, legged it, got turned over.
I have a feeling your balls couldn't handle that, but your mouth could.

Well........... the arguments have been round the block at least 3 times and still no conclusion has been reached, but the general consensus seems to be either:

if you are for the HF:
- the club is now dead on it's feet
- we have lost the main attraction at SP
- Sky will never show us on TV again without the flags and bouncing
- Block E are all selfish pigs for not moving for the HF
- Steve Parish, likewise for not making them move
- without them singing, we are now the laughing stock of the Premiership, British football in general, and probably the world at large.

If you weren't that keen:
- thank God there is no more drum
- the HF are a bunch of snowflakes
- they were not bigger than the club and deserve everything they got
- we will still have an atmosphere without them
- they did not help the team win

etc. etc. etc.

but I expect this thread will still run and run for another 236 pages

It isn’t JUST the Hf in that pub but I wasn’t there and it’s a fair point.

Read Park Road’s post above. There’s always a police meat wagon parked in Sydenham Road now any away fans won’t see so it’s unlikely to happen again. Well not for very long at least.

Wow that's impressive. Normally they just shove Palace fans out of their seats, or throw fireworks into other blocks.
Now I see they really are hard, I can see why Parish is running scared.
I think there's a charidee jumble sale in Holmesdale Road tomorrow, full of stalls of flags and black clothing. Sussex police have said there may also be knuckle-dusters and knives , but no confirmation as yet.

I disengage, I turn the page.
