I thought the malice toward Obama for being a Black man was sometimes astonishing but the vitriol toward Trump is on another level.

Yesterday, he called a sitting US Senator a whore on Twitter. A literal whore, as in someone who would have sex for money.

There is good reason for the vitriol directed at Trump.

I'm not astonished, the man is an incoherent c**t who's deliberately alienated the media (fake news), engaged in cronyism, deals entirely in self propaganda, deceit and is incapable of tact - who's own staff seem to regularly undermine his presidency with leaks.

He wasn't likable on his own TV show (in which he was the ruthless, w***er boss). Its a bit like complaining that the press on Ted Bundy is very one sided.

Haha, no you don't understand, we need to arbitrarily find one good thing to say about him for every bad, no matter how he piggish he behaves , what he spews out or how ill fitting he is for the role that the public appear to now agree he's not cut out for. Not doing that is 'unfair' :-D.

We should put together a 'things that are great about Roy Moore' collage while we're at it.. or perhaps we can just let behaviour speak for itself rather than sugar coat. People tend to be remembered how they should be remembered.

A few words about the Alabama Senate race. Roy Moore was an absolute embarrassment to the GOP. Nobody in the Senate wanted him, especially Mitch McConnell and Alabama's highly conservative senior senator, Richard Shelby. He went out of his way to say that he disapproved of and would not vote for Moore. In addition to the sexual misconduct allegations, he consistently violated the U.S. Constitutions prohibition against applying religious tests as stated in Article VI. This caused him to be removed as Chief Judge of the Alabama Supreme Court (an elected position) not once but twice. He has stated his preference for the days when slavery was permitted in the U.S. Had he won, he would have been the Democrats chief example of how bad the GOP is. Now they have Trump, who just described my Senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, as willing to prostitute herself for a campaign donation.

As is his right!! But now that he's said a 'bad thing' we have to ensure that we say one good thing about him, else we are mindless haters.

The only novel thing about what's left of the Trump presidency is seeing who's last to stay suckling at his teat.

It is interesting to see how the 'left' react whan they get a taste of their own medicine.

Being objective isn't having to praise people.

Being objective is behaving like an adult instead of an emotive child.

It's child-like hate.

White collar rednecks.

It's the level it's at that gets me.....I mean, sure...slag off a politician you don't like.....but it goes far beyond that.

At some point you deal with the policies and stop calling people names.....well some of us do.

Are you accusing the left of - towards Donald J. Trump - being childish, going to far with insults and unable to stop name calling? Really?

Those are totally valid criticisms of him because they are incarnate.

I'm not critical of that. I'm critical of the level of it.....the sheer hatred for Trump is tea party like. I mean that, 'we go high, when they go low'....I mean, it's laughable now to think of that.

I like how Bernie Sanders deals with Trump...like an adult.

Typical unprofessional cringe from Trump.

I don't know about how she handled it or who she is.
